Somewhere down in Texas
I love fireplaces. It finally got cold enough in Central Texas for me to burn ours. Tonight is the first time it's been lit since last year. And last winter was so mild that I think we only burned it a couple of times. I love the smell and the ambience. Kinda like smoking a cigar. I see a Crown and Coke in my very near future.

Fireplaces do have that nice sentimental feeling baout them. My parents had a fire going over Thanksgiving. Made it feel just a bit more "homey". if that makes sense.

High's in the 40's here today. Over night lows in the the 20's. I am ready for the fireplace tonight!

It would be nice to smoke a pipe in front of the fireplace. Alas, can't smoke in the house.

I've got a nice fire roaring in the fireplace now. Sitting back reading a book and sipping an eggnog and Jim Beam Black. Life is feeling pretty dang good.
