I dont care what a cigar is "rated" , I trust my own taste, I try it before I comment on a cigar , I have been smoking cigars since 1955 long before a lot of you were born,, maybe before your parentswere born, I dont care what CA or any publication has a number system If I like it I soke it , Right now I have a Bahia Maduro torp in the ashtray, a Fine smoke , sure I some the big name stuff but when it comes to the Hidden Jems thats what I look for , there is a lot to be said for running a cigar shop when you love cigars , being retired has an advantage also, I can hang out at the shop all day, get samples from the sales people & I have a nice "Humidor" & smoking room at home, so when I get to try some thing new, I get like a kid at Christmas, & later tonight , I have a new cigar from the Miami cigar group, dont have any idea what the name is , havent looked at the band snice I got it this afternoon,,,, it passed the sniff & squeeze test, & as soon as I get the single malt in the snifter & get the coffee on I will be trying it ...... Who needs a steady diet of Monte & Fuente, ( I do LOVE the Don Carlos #3 as many of you know, but I have cut back to a few days a week as the starter for the DC3 , I have been alternating the CAO La Travitia corona, & the New Rocky Patel Cammeroon corona with the blue band, ,,,, What I want to start my day with is the Partagas series D #4 robusto , But the Ban on Cuban cigars puts a real crimp in my tastebuds ....... Enjoy, Vince
