The wife and I are headed to Boston on Tuesday for a few days of R&R. Other than Churchills, any suggestions of cigar shops I should visit while there ?????? Thanks

LJ perrites (sp) has some good stuff, esp pipe, but, the people there can be pretty rude...its a shame. This place is on Alrington, near the common.

A great place to go is Gloucester Street cigars, you can sit around and smoke inside, people are nice, and the prices are good too. This place is on 34 Gloucester Street, in back bay. If you go anywhere besides Churchills, go here.

The weather kind of sucks right now, bring some warm sunshine with you.

I second Gloucester Street. Great place. Cigar Masters, on Boylston just east of the Prudential entrance is a nice hang if you are looking for a good bar/lounge and place to sit and smoke. I believe a lighting fee applies here, unlike at Gloucester Street. The prices of sticks can be a little high but the selection is good.

Jesse I dont know about the stick situation there but I want you to go and find a nice 3lb Maine Lobster, have it broiled and stuff it with more lobster meat and breadcrumbs, butter...think of me while eating it...then go outside and smoke a killer stogie

The wife wants to do the duck tour,. and those filthy, rotten, no good....er..I mean the Red Sox are out of town :D
The lobster sounds awsome. I'll see what I can do. Can you smoke a cigar while walking around the town, or is there a smoking ban???

MMMMMM, Lobster....even better than Iguana!!!!

Have a blast Gary, you deserve a nice holiday....even if it rains all the time, and you don't get out of the hotel!

Sure, I'll take a few pics. Maybe they'll let me take a few at Churchills.
I think I'll have the lobster and I'll order Terra the Iguanna :D

There is a great restaraunt called 28degrees, it's on the corner of Appleton and Treemont. I've ate there a couple times, and the food is amazing. ask georgenickson about it, he works there

Boston.... Lobster.... Cigars.... R&R.... I can't think of anything else....

I'm feeling a bit jealous.

Have a great trip.

How about just cigars and R & R!!!

Springtime in Nebraska..... No such thing as R & R.

For someone in my line of work that is.

Enjoy.

of course you have to realize that the winter months are party time!!!!

Boston has no smoking ban for any public areas. Last week we watched the marathon runners cross the finish line while smoking. A walk through the Common and Beacon Hill with a smoke is best. Good times.

Hey,
Made it to Boston, and found my way to Cigar Masters on Boyalton St. Nice people, bought a Padron 2006 robusto, and smoked it while walking around town. It was great. We went to the Boston Beerworks for dinner. Blueberry Ale, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, it was tasty. It will be Churchills before lunch tomorrow.

While in Boston please stop by and say hello to Denny Crane and find out what those beautifull, black, toothie, unbanded stogies are with all that bellowing smoke.

Thanks in advance

I'm back home. We had a great time. Made it to Churchill, bought a few cigars to smoke while wandering. Had lunch at the Salty Dog, next to Quincy Market. Its one of my favorite lunch stops. Made it up to Gloucester St. Cigar Co. Jose and the guys were great. I bought some cigars had a few laughs, and went on our way. We had dinner at Vinny T's (Tessas) There are a few around Boston. We ate at the one in Brighton. Awsome Italian food. I really hated to leave. I could have stayed for a few more days.
Here are a few pics
