Grind your own?

Nahhhhhh, not convinced. I take out the coffee, measure out 37.5 grams of beans for my eight cup (demi-tasse measure) Freedom Press and the rest goes back in. Regarding the yield, it's about 30 ounces of coffee. What temperature changes? Out for one minute once a day, six, seven days a week, gone in less than two weeks. When I get home tomorrow, I'll ask Maxine and Sarah (what sex is my python anyway?), but I'm thinking it's going to be 3-0 in favor of keeping it in the freezer.

Small details as we say!
They Python can have small remnants of legs that stick out
near the anus. These legs are often a sign of being a male
snake. From what I have heard, they are still there on some snakes
because it ain't always easy to hold down a female (snake)
and the males need all the help they can get.
I have never had much luck with snakes.
Did raise one Boa that got pretty big (6 feet or so)
ate my guinea pig and got very sick.
I have raised many Iguana - have one now - "Lemac"
Just a small thing (2 foot maybe)
The last 3 I raised went to a petting zoo for kids.
They were monsters!
I never give them coffee, but it might help.
One thing I know for sure, never put an reptiles in the fridge/freezer
they just don't like it!

Started as a joke, My wife and I collect camels.
Misa is from tehCzeck republic and when we first met I started telling her I knew all about her country.
How they traveled around in tents and you could tell how wealthy a person was by how many camels they owned.
So I started sending her camel after camel and joking that she would be the richest person in the country.
Now we have camels every where!
She drew the line when I wanted to buy three live camels to set up a camel ride around our property!
But we have 100 camels (stuffed) no tent!

Bloof - No coffee yet?
Will be there today!

100 stuffed camels?

:eek:mg:

Leaving work now. See you tomorrow. Won't be back on line until then.

100 stuffed camels.

:eek:mg:

What a bunch of humps.

I admit to being a well-trained husband. I am up one hour before the rest of the house. The Cafe Brit is ground and brewed and the dogs are fed and watered. I have being performing the same ritual for the past four years.

That morning fresh ground coffee is a special time. The best way for me to start the day. The aroma of the beans and the grounds, the process, the aroma and the expectation of the finished product, and finally that tasty pleasant, fast rising jolt that says HELLO!!!!!!!!

Hey all.

I grind fresh beans in a burr grinder, right into the freedom press. Water is poured from Brita filter into electric kettle. When pot 'clicks', i let the boil back off a bit, then pour the water down the side of the freedom press. Wait 3 minutes.

Then I pour about 1/2" of Coffemate Hazelnet creamer into the cup... not the low-carb stuff.... slowly press the freedom press and pour coffee into waiting pool of delicious stuff.

If you haven't tried that hazelnut stuff, it really is great. I know it is a mortal sin but i once tried half a cup of Blue Mtn with the hazelnut and the flavor nuances of the bean were still apparent. Mmmmm....

It actually sounds pretty tasty, if not the purists way to go all the time. A nice change of pace recipe for those who might be wanting to jazz up their coffee routine. I also use Brita pitchers for my water. They really clean up the water and taste very well.

I grind before I brew, 13 seconds in the grinder, shaking it at all times back & forth, at the end of the 13 seconds it is ready to dump in the pot , one of these days I will get a burr grinder, but my blade grinder is about 10 years old & is still working just fine, , , so when I get the new grinder I will retire the old one to herbs & spices , right now I use a moror & pestel for them, it will work for coffee also when the power is out, , hey just because the electricty is off I still need my mug o Joe , being out in the far reaches of the wilderness hahahaha we loose power about 3 times a year, dammmm drunks hitting the power lines with there cars, Dammm glad I dont drink & drive, but I do drink & putt hahahahaha !
Enjoy, Vince

It's funny Vince, I've had the same blade grinder for about 15 years now. It still works great. I have a couple of other blade grinders for spices as well.
