The wife and kids are flying out to California for a week next Saturday. So I have to go to Costco, first thing Saturday morning and buy the Audio version of the new book (with Jim Dale, of course) and get it home, into the pc and on the three iPods before we leave for the airport.
I took my wife to see it Saturday. It was our first date since we had our son. We both enjoyed it a lot. She thought that they left too much out, which they did, but I convinced her that it was very hard to condense 700-800 pages (I don't know the exact page count) into 2 hours. we are both looking forward to reading the last book.
I should be done with it tonight, and yes it is a very good book.[/quote]
I have to fight with my 14 year old for book time. I usualy let him win. He is almost done, I told him if he ruined it for me I would have a chore lit to last the remainder of the summer
I got the boys (and my wife's) iPods loaded before they left for California on Saturday. I have been going back and forth depending on what I am doing, reading and listening. I'm about 2/3 of the way through.
For book six, my youngest accidentally told me who got killed and who did it. Arrgghh!
