Good evening to all!
I been away kind of - Our company left this morning after a nice week visit.
Did all kinds of fun stuff from shooting guns - visiting people, Broadway show & lots of good eating!
There was also the smoking of the some of the very best cigars I have ever had!
I'll post more about it another day -
SO my compnay headed out this moring and headed for a pillow!
Slept all day - and I'm still a little tired!
I am trying to catch up on my reading now, I did pop in and read
a little as I got up before everyone else.
Having a family is so different.
(they have a boys 12 & 15) - really great kids!
OK, back to reading just wanted to post something?

Hey CC welcome back. Isn't it always the case, entertaining is exhausting. Love to have people over but you need a vacation after. It's kinda a mean circle, after vacation, you gotta get back to work so you can get some rest........ :dunno:

   Ain't it the truth? Of course, I've only had one true vacation since 1980, so I don't really count. I've had plenty of unemployment and partial employment, though. Hey, I'm always on vacation, I guess. :eek:mg: :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:

Welcome back CC, I'm always pleased when I hear that someone has enjoyed the shooting sports. I'll bet that you have taught many how much fun safe shooting can be! Regards

Mmmm - shooting sports! I just picked up a SKS yesterday - got it de-cosmoed except for the stock and the bolt - that's todays project.

I have 2 SKS and that by far was the eye opener & smile bringer of the bunch!
Thankfully I have a lot of land and am able to shoot all day & not hear any complaints.
The youngest (12) asked his day 5 times to buy him one for his B'day!
It wa s agreat time - I will post more about the cigars we smoked
some are once in a life smokes (for me) some maybe if lucky I'll get to smoke twice.

Welcome back, CC. Glad to hear you had a great visit with your guests. Every time I take my kids to my parents to visit, my father tells me that we make him happy twice ...once when we get there and once when we leave....LOL!

Can't wait to hear more about those cigars CC - and I'm hoping my SKS lives up to that! Though I did get mine for my Bday, so can't complain!

The Best cigar of the week was called an IMPERIALES the size is called
"Taco" made by H. Upmann - here's the thing about this smoke - it has not beenr eleased yet and is being made for a special humidor.
There will be 200 humidors made with 50 cuigars in it.
Yet somehow my friend was able to get a few.
This was one of the strongest ciggars I have ever smoked.
One friend (there were 3 smoking these) had to lay down in the back seat after smoking his and try and not puke all over the car.
It was a damn good smoke - creamy with a real Expresso center.
ALl 3 of us, got a little light headed smoking them.
I only recall 2 or 3 times in my life this has happened.
The aging potential of these cigars is on the next level -
that said at 3K for 50 sticks I doubt I'll ever smoke another

Wow - that sounds fantastic. At that price, I KNOW I'll never get to smoke one! Maybe for $100, someone will let me stand near them and breathe in second hand?

Just you wait, Cybrus....I bet ChrisGuinther will be trying to get a box split together on one of those babies before you know it...hehe :p

Haha - you're probably right! But even then, at $60 a stick, it is still WAY (think alternate dimension) out of my price range. If this stick is a new car, then I'm looking to buy an old set of 2x2 rollerskates that need to have bearings replaced.
