How long does your cigar last?

I remember reading something CC posted about drawing softly on a cigar and not doing it more than once a minute, since then I adopted that philosophy and it seems to work well for me. I just wondered how fast (or slow) is everybody at putting away a good smoke? My averages are something like:

Corona - 1 hour
Robusto - 1 hour 15-30 mins
Torpedo/Toro - 1 hour 45 mins
Churchill - 2 hours and up
A - 2 hours 30 mins and up

Yours?

Same here. Maybe a little bit faster.

I smoke a lot more of the smaller RG cigars and PC size cigars now. I can polish of a PC in about 45 minutes.

About the same as initial post. I use to smoke a churchill in about an hour, but found the flavor to be much better when I slowed down.

Depending on the ring gauge, my numbers are about the same as the initial post, except add another 10-20 minutes.

it seems that i smoke fast.

i plow through a robusto in 1 hour or so.

toros are about 1hour 20 -30 min

the el cobre a 6.5 x 52 torp. took me 1h 45 min

churchills take me anywhere from 1h 30min to 2h.

im noticing (as i look back on my catalog) that the stronger cigars take longer than a milder cigar of the same size/shape.

It depends if I am smoking by myself or with a buddy or two. I will smoke significantly longer when I am sharing a smoke and BS'ing.

Alone I am with you on the numbers Kuzi - smoking with a buddy I am more in the range of what Cloudy does.

I'm with you Andrew. I always thought I smoked slow, but it seems I'm right around average. Although I have smoked faster at times.

I take my time and am a very slow smoker. I have found that I enjoy my cigars much more this way.

I'm about the same as the original post, maybe 5-10 minutes quicker on each.

Seems to me that I am right around where Cloudy posted, sometimes a bit longer. I smoke my cigars for the pure enjoyment and relaxation factor and find it to be more relaxing to take my time. I also enjoy them more.

No it is not just you, it is that reason why I am thinking about getting a pipe to finish smoking the entire stick. I believe that Vince sometimes does that. I find that when I get to the end of a cigar the flavors are so good that it pains me to have to set it down.

I was looking at some Graycliff's that are 16 inches long. Bit hard to hold but might be a good long smoke. Some cigars get really good at the end. The Gurkha Nepales warrior got better and better the smaller it got. I hated to end it but there was nothing left to hold on to.

I usually only smoke something ~ a Robusto. I love the rothschild size. I cannot smoke a whole Churchill. I would get bored with it. Robustos tpically take about an hour.

My daughter must be right. I am impatient. My smokes last much shorter than the posted times. Will have to slow down and smell the smoke.

Masterpiece - 9 X 52. That has be a dynamite couple hours of smoking time.

The Graycliff is the Big Bamboo. 16 X 50 :eek:mg: Comes in a box of two, I think the Capt has smoked one of these at some point.
