Humi Beads FAO!

I have a question for everyone on this forum who ordered beads from Heartfelt industries.

How long did it take for you to get them? I ordered mine on Monday April 10th and received notifiecation that they were mailed on the 11th. I then received another email stating that it had been shipped through the US postal service on the 13th.

Its now the 20th and still no beads. I'm just wondering if it normally takes this long or if I should take steps to find out where they are?

Regular Post can take upwards of two weeks sometimes. Rest assured though, if you have any problems, Dave will take care of you.

With USPS parcels (not priority or express mail), it would take about 7-14 business days. I think you'll get it today since it's been about a week since it was handed off to USPS.

*** UPDATE ***

According to the USPS website, the package was delivered on Monday 4/17. I'm at work now, so I'll have to check with neighbors when I get home today. I checked that USPS site every day this week and all it ever said was that it was updated on 4/12. Now almost 5 days after the fact it states it was delivered.

Finally got the beads

Looks like the beads were delivered on Monday, but the postal guy delivered them to the wrong apartment. I had to go door to door asking if anyone received a package for me. I'm just glad to have them and they are now in my Humi keeping it at a perfect 65%.

Hooray.

Dave and Heartfelt and his loyal customers (he apparently had many very satisfied ones) probably hate it every time I jump on a thread like this and point out that Exquisicat Peal Fresh Beads cat letter are the same thing as the product sold by Heartfelt, but at a a fraction of the price.

Dave offers tubes and credos and the "HumidiPuck" devices that are quite handy and convenient, but for using the beads in bulk, either in a tube fashined of clean nylons or in a clean cottage cheese container with holes punched in the lid, you can't beat the price of the litter beads.

I have the Exquisicat beads. If they are the same thing as the Heartfelt beads, how does Heartfelt sell 65% and 70% beads? Are they the same exact beads, just acclimated to a particular humidity ("trained") or are they chemically different, adjusted to hold a particular RH?

This isn't meant to challenge the previous post, just to clear up a question I've had for quite some time: Does Heartfelt just buy the kitty litter pearls, train them , then sell them at a 13,000% markup? If so, I gotta get into that business!!

i've used the kitty litter type for over 7 months after seeing van talk about them. this stuff works great for me here. :D :D
