I am going to be a daddy.

Wow, Fargo - twins! Congrats to you too!

I hate to admit it - but I do miss when they were babies - although I have enjoyed every stage they have gone through so far. I can't believe how quickly it is going.

Enjoy this time, both of you guys! Bikeman is so right about not blinking - because that's what it is like.

Congrats to the new fathers tobe.
Twins, all I can say is wow.
It is a long journey, watched my daughter graduate from nursing school this past weekend, it doesn't it doesn't seem that long ago she was just a little girl.
And now she will be taking care of old farts like me, pretty scary.

Congrats again

AAAHHHHHHHHH-RAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Congrats, brother!

Just had my baby girl 4 months ago. You've got a lot of work ahead of you! Just take care of your wife....she will remember it when she's going through labor!

PM me your address. I want to send something your way when I send out USMC's.

Congrats to you and the Mrs. Redleg. My kids are grown, but most definitely the high point in my life. One of the few things I look back on and say, "yea, I did alright." I would hope that you can one day share those sentiments.

Congratulations!

Just happened to visit NorVa, and we looked around Ocean View, and found the hotel building where I met my first child - in 1960, when she was four months old. I was on a Med cruise when she was born. Wife & I were not happy about being apart for the first one, but we made up for it.

Now we have five children, an assortment of in-laws and significant others, and five grandchildren.

It is a bit scary for the first few years of your first child. But that turns out to be the easy part. Nothing but simple life and death decisions, with lots of diapers, smiles, hugs and giggles in between.

Later, it gets a bit tougher, when puberty rears its familiar head. But when you get past that, you begin to find out what kind of a job you've done. At first they get good jobs, or don't, they get good significant others, or don't, they have kids of their own, or don't; that much is pretty much up to fate.

It is when they ask you to be Best Man at their weddings, and what do you think about this financial decision, or that house they are looking at, or name their kids after you or the wife, and after a grandchild runs across a crowded room and tackles you with a big hug that you really know.

Looking back over the 47 years we have been married, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, that we are more proud of than our children.

And, it was so much fun starting them!

Again, congratulations, and God's blessings to you and your family.
