I was promoted to Staff Sergeant today!
Great news for my family.
Although it's been a sad year for my family in regards to my father and brothers passing in March and my deployment, this brings some much needed good news.
We found out that my wife was pregnant before I left and last week we found out that it's a boy! Now I'm promoted, get a raise, hit my 8 year mark in the Marine Corps (another raise) then yet another raise in Jan!
Plus now, I'm guaranteed a 20 year career.
