Hello all,

I am fairly new when it comes to cigars and I am looking on some suggestions for a reasonably priced cigar (box) to distribute to friends and family when they come to visit. I typically don't buy for a others and just for myself so normally I wouldn't be asking this question. I typically buy the better cigars for myself and close friends and I think I would have a hard time giving away Fuente's for free. I considered a box of Macanudo's...

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to speaking with some of you.

i recomend the cusano 18 for casual smokers, even seasoned smokers can appreciate it but its not too strong. i HIGHLY recomend you stay away from macanoodles. i hear on halloween they give kids candy with poison in it, and they ran over my puppy!

 haha...

I just considered Macanudo's for the fact that I won't be smoking any. Cusano 18's sound like a much better choice. Thanks.

I will 2nd jihiggs recommedation..... A nice smoke to go with anything from wine or port, to scotch.

Cusano 18 really is the best crowd pleaser. You cant go wrong. Only buy a box of macanudos if you dont like who you are giving them to. :D

Man, everyone sure is relentless about the Mac. Everytime I see that name, I think of the poor fella who started a vent session here a week ago...

Alright Macallan. You need to stop posting with that avatar. I need to get some work done!!!!!

I only keep Vintage Crapanudos around to give to friends who are casual smokers that I wouldn't want to waste my good smokes on.

Hey let's face it....Friends who give friends Macadoodoo's are no friends of mine!! Cusano, what a great recommendation! That is a fantastic stick, I also find in the price range the Oliva classic to be quite good as a smoker and or a hand out!

Nice Rec Eclipse. I just started smoking those. For 3.00 a stick it is a real steal. Latest issue of CA gave thema 92

Not that I ever trust many of their ratings.

I recomend the Excalibur Royal Sterling Fortis 7 1/2 x 54 or the nwere Cigar ABAM, they run around 103.00 a box and are extremely impressive. Macanudo's are in my opinion much like a gas station cigar.

I suggest giving them the Macanudos if you don't like visitors.

Otherwise like everyone else, I agree with the Cusano 18s... the robustos are real good and perfect size for people that don't smoke cigars often.
