After much procrastinating and letting a computer sit around collecting dust I finally set up our internet at the house. We tried Net zero but had modem issues, and then we finally tried Verizon DSL. Its not broadband, but its a far dry better than dial up. It only took them a week to come out to the house and get the line in the house, but now I'm up and running. Now I can do some late night mooching.

Hey I got the verizon DSL through the phone line. Its not bad but when I went to buy it customer service said I didnt need a phone line going to my house becasue a few months ago some verzion guy took it down and didnt tell me why. They had to come back out and hook up the phone line.

I have comcast phone that has their own phone line box outside my house that feeds the line in my house, so the verizon line had to be right from the phone line out of the house, not after the comcast box, which caused some kind of interferance. So I got it a week after I had the dsl modem delivered. Big whoop.

We have been on High Speed through our phone line for about 5 years now. We run three computers all surfing at the same time, and no slow down at all. Ya gotta love DSL.

I have had a cable modem for years and I'll never do DSL again if I can help it. When the phone company switched over we got an offer to try the DSL, at a discounted rate for a few months, and it doesn't even compare to cable, in my opinion. We have multiple computers at a time, and never had a problem.

i have had verizon dsl for bout 6 years and never had a problem. i do alot of online gaming and it runs great. :D

I had comcast broad band before and I found that I got viruses galore with it so I could not enjoy the speed as my computer was running very slow. The price was a killer too; more than double what I am paying right now so I couldn't justify the cost.
