just bought one last night and i cant wait to get home and try it out! never had one befor and i have been sitting at work all day thinking about it! anyone have any thoughts of this cigar?
The only La Aurora I ever had was one they made for Thompson's 95th anniversary. It was a good cigar, but not superb. I would suspect their regular lines might be better. Let us know how it was.
Well boys that was one great cigar! Had absolutely no problems with it! I haven't smoke to many cigars but I know that on was good! Burnt even great taste and a good draw. So far what I know about cigars is that one was pretty good and ill be back for more
When I first started smoking regularly, I kept a journal and made notes. I quickly found out that I liked Cameroon wrappers and that I could taste the flavor differences. I also found out which cigars I would no longer buy.
Well bikeman I must say the first one I had was great! I just got done smoking one and I hope it was just a dud! It started great tasted great and then after a third of it it really went south. The wrap fell apart it bubbled and cracked and since I'm knew at this I tried to save it as best I could but I failed so I had to cut it short! The first one wa a great smoke so I'm definitely gonna grab a few more to get that good feeling about them back!
You guys have to stop talking about cigars, I just ordered a 5'er of 1495's.
Zach- sounds like a conditioning problem- too wet or too dry will enhance the possibilities of wrapper problems. That's why most of us let the cigars rest in the humidor for at least a few days.
Tony I don't have a humi yet! I plan on getting one soon! I smoked it about 4 hours from when I bought it and the humi at the shop it was in was real muggy I have never bought from there befor and I don't think I will go back. But the wrapper felt as if it woulda been way dry not wet and the humi was super muggy and damp so idk what the problem was
