Your wife's ink is rad. Is that a diving Dove on the Right? I have a cliche' flaming sun on my back I got when I was 18. Thought about having it removed, but it represents that hellraising time of my life. I want to get the Icarus wings on my foot when I run my first marathon (hopefully this year).

Do you mean Hermes (Mercury in Roman myth)? He's usually the one associated with wings on his ankles (sometimes just the sandles) and speedy runnin'.

That is a great idea for the tattoo on your ankle. I ran the California International marathon two years ago. I plan on running it again this year. I am currently training for a half marathon in March. Having run a marathon, you will defintily want something to mark your acheivment as it is going to be a big accomplishement for you. Good luck on your training and enjoy the miles. you will never regret having run a marathon it is the hardest thing to train for, but the most rewarding thing to cross that finish line 26.2 miles later!
Speaking of musicians, I play guitar and bass. Any other musicians in the house?
I was about a 5 months into a 7 month training schedule last fall when I messed my knee up. Was planning to do the Charlotte Marathon December 9th and had to drop out of training for about 2 months. Just got back running mid December. It really sucks, because I was up to 17/18 mile long runs.

I have two half sleeves - the angel and devil on my my shoulders. As far as getting tattoos removed, I wouldn't do it. Especially if you're thinking of getting another one. I would find a talented tattoo artist whom can cover it up with a better piece. My right arm used to have Taz on it
