Well, I'll admit to something publicly, in order to give everyone a clearer understanding of why some things don't get taken care of in shorter order. Moderating these forums is currently a hobby for those of us here. We're volunteers, okay? With jobs, lives and multitudes of responsibilities.
Personally, there are at LEAST two periods a week when I am away from an online computer for 36 hours or so at a time. Although I post a lot, my time comes mostly in spurts, not blocks. As for everyone else, I can't speak for them personally, other than what I said in the above paragraph.
Last, but not least, and yes, I am locking this thread, but deleting certain materials first, let me make certain things perfectly clear yet AGAIN.
You may talk all you want about the purchase and smoking of Non-Cuban cigars. You may post links to your favorite web sites, call them by name, or even quote how much you just spent on that box of Savinelli Nicaraguan Reserve that just came in. You may talk about smoking Cuban cigars. You MAY NOT talk about purchasing Cuban cigars, encourage others openly to do so, or COMMIT INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY VIOLATIONS by posting material IN FULL from other web sites without their permission, Cuban cigar related or otherwise.
I think anything I left unsaid is correctly inferred, and I strongly encourage everyone to understand that these forums are not guarded by two sentinels 24 hours a day, with starchy pants, puffy hats, and brims down low over eyes. Although we WILL eventually get around to everything, hopefully sooner than later, we encourage all the members to behave in the first place.
We also thank the members who help us out by policing these posts with their open discussions regarding violations, and bringing certain things to our attention directly when needed.
