A good single malt is the only whiskey I';ll drink.

Grenmerangie highland 10 yr is my fav....I asked santa to bring me a bottle.
That's a great idea!

 But, I already asked for the Hitchcock DVD box set (which I know I'm getting  .)

But, no Scotch

Sorry Brenda - my boss gave me a bottle of Glenfarclas 21 year for Christmas - very good scotch!

well maybe if you're real good santa will bring you some! :D

But of course! Got to go to the Glenfiddich distillery. Very awesome. They have these HUGE barrels where they ferment something like 50,000 litres - and they had at least 10 in the one room we were in and several other rooms with more. Each barrel was about 20 feet tall and we walked around on a catwalk system so we'd be near the tops of the barrels.

The aroma must have been unbelieveable! Smellavision anyone! That's all part of a good single malt or bourbon. The beauty, the bouquet and then the taste!

Ravyn, I'll expect you'll have your flask tonite!
Still snowing hard here, gonna be rough going tonite.

That is the same as a bottle I inherited from my Father. The one I got is Port Wine Finish, I have to cut it with a little water, and then you can really tast the wine in it.

FANTASTIC!!

Absolutely Razor - was an incredible smell.

And it is still snowing downtown too - really showing hard. Going to be a good night for a cup of coffee and a glass of scotch

Ah - the 12 yr Glenmorangie with the different finishes - love those! My all time favorite scotch so far. I like the Maderia finish better than the Port, and I like the Port better than the Sherry.

Can't wait to get another bottle of that

You know what the ultimate would be? An AT4 or LAW tube retrofitted to make a snow cannon. A toy for the tyke as well as you two

I've seen the spent tubes on ebay before but there aren't any now. There are other sites if you do a little searching.

My uncle has one that he doesn't feel safe keeping at home. Not sure why, but I'm gonna try and buy it off him this Christmas when I see him.

Going the hair spray propelled way, or compressed air?
Hair spay is much more fun, especially at night haha.

Interesting thread. How the heck did I miss this?

You've gotta show us some pics when you're done.

Ive got a compressed air one...sooo much fun. Its awesome to wrap a golf ball up in a sock and stuff it down in there and uhh...yeah, have them soaked in alcohol and flame lol.

OK!
as promised, I had alittle time today...

here are a few pics of my Trebuchet...this was its first run and we were doing some adjusting with weight and sling length etc...should give you an idea of power though...In these pics..we were using about 600LB of counterweight (the machine can handle about a ton) and we were slinging water jugs (8 lb) about 130 yrds.

First 2 pics are the moment of release

future mods will be wheels and a traditional bucket. Its a pretty amazing machine.

Worlds biggest trap and skeet thrower!

Did you ever get a chance to launch things besides water bottles?
