Merry Christmas!

Just finished a leg of lamb supper at a historic resturant in Salado. Went out back and shot my new pistol this morning. I got a Ruger Mark III Hunter. Shoots great! About light up a nice cigar and relax for a bit.

We had supper at The Stagecoach Inn. Typically for Christmas dinner we go to my parents house in Harker Heights, and cook lobster and crablegs. Been a tradition with us for years. Dad past away a year ago the day before yesterday. Last Christmas we were all shell-shocked. This year we decided to start a different tradition. Mom came over here first thing this morning and we all opened gifts. Hung out and went and ate. I guess I'm the man of the family now that dads gone.

Pretty windy and cold here. A nasty front has blown in and may kill my cigar plans. North Texas is getting snow. I may get out my deerstand heater later and go out on the back porch for a short smoke. Mmmmm, short smoke. Partagas Short. Mmmm......

LGCs are such wonderful smokes. They have never dissappointed me.

Well, I just realized that I don't have the cojones to smoke tonight. The 32 degree temp isn't the problem though. It's the high wind that makes it feel in the upper teens and low 20s that I have a problem with. Oh well, maybe tomorrow night.
