OK, I did find a cigar that had the infamous, butt-kicking qualities. (drumroll...........) the Joya de Nicaragua Antano Consul.
I have one of these in my humi... thanks for the heads up, I'll be careful as to when and where I smoke it

I generally like mild to medium cigars. Occasionally, I'll pull out one that I know will kick my butt, but only if I'm at home and have no plans to do any walking for a while

La Gloria Cubana Serie R Maduro. I haven't had it yet, but I have been told by a number of trusted sources that this puppy will knock your socks off. I have one sitting in the humidor staring at me every time I open it. The only problem is that it is a big sucker and I don't know when I'll find the two hours to smoke it now that it is snowing in Michigan. At least that is what I keep telling myself...It has nothing to do with me being scared of it or anything...really, I swear 8)

The Gran Consul has been a favorite of mine for a while, it's definitely an after dinner smoke, I did light one as a morning cigar one time and got that queasy feeling about halfway through lol. I did happen upon some Antano figurados this week, 7 X 54 of brute strength, I am thinking that I am going to let those get plenty of rest before lighting one.

Mild, with an explanation

Smoking a good mild cigar is a ritual for me. When Arnold S. had cigar parties at his restaurant in Santa Monica, California, it would be an all evening affair.

When I would go with my friend to his cigar club in Beverly Hills, we would relax and chat with everyone for hours with good comradeship. :D
