My first contest

1 hour
12 minutes

BTW - your attention is needed on the F&G thread

That is a good guess, however, not correct. That is the time from gun start to my crossing the finish line, not my actual time.

I went to Charleston, SC over the weekend for the Cooper River Bridge Run (a 10K foot race).

What was my finishing time (Hours & Minutes)?

The closest without going over will get a small bundle in the mail. one guess per person.

We'll give it 24 hours.

ENJOY!!!

One guess

Yay!! Good Job Brenda. PM your info and I'll send you a package.

Yep, 6.2 miles in 1 hour 4 min. Not quite where I wated to be but okay just the same.

So...

Does this mean Brenda is now the Fun and Games PIFer?

Brenda, did you enter with that understanding?

Oops, I didn't realize this was supposed to be part of the "Fun and Games" thread. Do we use the 3x3x3 rule for that thread as well? If so, I've won in that thread within the last three weeks and the package should go to someone else. Can we get a ruling?

I think Soupwell declared a rule change to 3x3x1 week. Its unclear but thats how I read it.

All the best,

Joe

This was a little confusing,,next time I think we should try to keep it in the same thread

Nice Job on the run though.. I would of had a heart attack around the five minute mark. Did your cigar have any burn problems while running?

Thanks! It was a little disappointing as I am usually between 45-55 minutes for a 10k depending on the crowd. They was a water Main break in Charleston on Friday noght, so we did not have water. So, I drank beer the night before, got dehydrated, had no water to re-hydrate and really didn't eat much before the race. Plus it was the first race of the warm season for me, so it was a body shocker. I was dead by the end. I did go to the smoking lamp and buy a few A Fuente 8-5-8s for the rest of the weekend though. That is my new favorite smoke. Yummy.
