Go BIGGER , WAY BIGGER , trust me , right now I have 13 humidors ranging in size from a small 20 count to a 300 count box, most are in between a lot of 50 or 75 count humidors, Trust me when I tell you to GO as big as you can since this isnt the first humidor you know thats soon you will need a third one, then a fourth & soon you will be just as I am with humidors all over the place, GO BIG , BIGGER BIGGEST ! , If I had 3 or 4 cabnets I might be ok, I have cigars in a big Tupperdoor I have cigars in my locker at the shop & I have a coolerdoor for trips when I need to take cigars with me , ask any of the guys who are over 50 & who have been somking cigars as long as I have ( first cigar was in 1955 ) , GO AS BIG AS YOU CAN NOW , dont worry that you will not have it full right away, trust me , you will fill it , & then an other , I have been debating on making a walk in here at home, but I dont have the room, we paid off the house about 2 years ago & now I think we need to add on a few rooms hahahaha, one for cigars & one for the hot tub , but I was out voted one to one - the wife has the deciding vote all the time in case of a tie !so I am happy with my smoking room that I have now , but it is detatched from the house, it has all the things I need heat & A/C , couch chairs & a nice old wooden rocker, carpets on the floors & six windows , a sky light & a power vent to suck out the smoke when we have a room full of cigar smokers in there , but I dont keep the heat on all the time , just when I am going out for a smoke I turn on the heat & in about 30/35 minutes it is 65F or more , great for a smoke & a sip of Scotch with a big mug of coffee to go with it , but I cant store any cigars there, it gets to cold at night with out the base board heat on , & it is to expencive to run 24/7 , keeping it at 70F to hold the cigars would cost about one hundered a month in the winter, , thats a lot of cigars I could by , so I just heat it when I need it, so when I say Go BIG , I mean it from the bottom of my humidors , GO BIGGEST !!!!!!
Enjoy, Vince

Tending to listen to people who know what they're talking about, I bought, for my first humidor, a 300 count box. Now I'm thinking "You know, this just isn't going to be big enough." It's still in the conditioning stage, but I can tell, it just ain't gonna do!

Now I've got my eye on a 1200 count tower....

God help me.

I agree that if you can go big. I just built a coolerdor and I am not sure if that is going to be big enough anymore.

I agree with Vince.

Get the BIGGEST you can AFFORD (that's every penny you have saved).

Yes, BIGGER is BETTER, in this case.
