Biodiesel and ethanol are the ONLY true sources of alternative fuels that have a real chance at making a dent in the US dependence in foreign oil.
These fuels are made very efficiently and are becoming more popular. Don't believe "research" that was done in the 1970's. We have plenty of acres to manufacture biodiesel and ethanol. The only problem is that the idiot environmental wack jobs place so many regulations on building production plants that many companies give up. Fortunately, many companies and coops are getting through the BS and building plants. The demand for ethanol alone is crazy and will continue to increase.
I will say that it is true that if ethanol and biodiesel take off as expected that commodity prices for corn and soybeans will increase. THIS IS A GREAT THING! We as a country need to keep family farms in operation. Trust me when I say you do not want large corporations controlling the food you eat. Food prices will not increase past the rate of inflation. Well, that is unless we elect Jimmy Carter (or any other democrat) president again.

Global warming is due to natural cycles in the environment and the solar system. Don’t put mankind on such a high pedestal as that we can change the climate of the Earth. Don’t believe the politicians that want to scare you or the MSM that wants to get ratings. Do some research!!! Start with Dr. Elwyn Taylor of Iowa State University. Then go the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Nebraska State Climatologist. Global warming is bunk!!! It is going to happen even if we don’t burn fossil fuels at all.
Forty years ago they predicted that 2004 through 2007 were going to be high hurricane years. Tell me why??? Cycles in the climate.
