why dont people like ACID cigars. I find them quite PLEASURABLE! Had my first one tonight, and it tasted so well. It was a Kuma Dulexe. Is it jsut becasues its aromatic???

I like the Acid Atom Maduro. Thats about the only one though. It does seem like the tobacco isn't the best quality , and the herbs and spices "mask" the lesser tobacco. However, I enjoy the Atom every once in a while.

I have never tired an Acid, but it is on my “list.” I have put a few in the cart but for some reason I have always taken them out.

If & when you ever buy one - smoke it right away!
You do not want it in your humidor.
If you buy a bunch put them in a bowl in your bathroom.
It will keep the room smelling fresh

aww they rnt that bad. The do have a very differnet and strong smell to them. I would smoke it outside, becasue it really lets out a strong scent, but to me, its a great smoke.

I've never had, seen, or smelled an ACID. Does it smell like potpourri or something?

They're just not right. They use inferior tobaccos and cover that fact with a very crude infusion process. Not only that but they are the modern version of Macanudos in that they are marketed to new smokers who don't know any better but just want to look cool. Don't mean to offend but its the truth.

That said, my shop is having a Macanudo event on the 4th of March that I will most likely still attend, but only to talk cigars and put the rep in an uncomfortable position by asking why they choose to not use the most flavorful leaf in their cigars. I'll also be probably smoking a big honkin' strong maduro.

I will admit, I used to smoke my fair share of Acids. I smoked them until I discovered how much better a real premium cigar is. I actually tried to take a puff off of one a couple weeks back, and I got real queasy. Even the smell now makes me think of those hippie-alternative kids back in school.

I just can't do the falvoured cigars anymore. They were a novelty at first but now they just taste bad to me. The tobacco always has a bitter taste to me.

Just like, Capt, I used to smoke a few Acids in the past, but have since moved on....I'll smoke one once in a blue moon just for giggles, but shhh!! don't tell anybody!!! :p  lol.

THe wife loves the Kuba Kuba so I keep a box around. They are not that bad IMHO. Every once in a while I want to smoke something a bit more wild.

If any of you have been curious about trying these, you may want to wait until next Fridays One Day Deal.... hint, hint

Later Gator

Well i can see most of u do not like Acids, but how about any other cigars from Drew Estate?? Naturals, Ambrosia??? I no that they all are aromatic, but sum1 must have liked them beside me.

Some of the Naturals are not very flavored. They are a mix of exotic tobaccos. I actually enjoy the Black Out but they are impossible to find. The Pimp Stick is not bad either.
