Off Topic: Phat Ride

1982 Buick Skylark 'Custom'
-modified left rear turn signal light (clear duct tape)
-special spray expanding foam in quarter panels (keeps dust and grime out of trunk space)
-3 classic original hubcaps (+1 in the trunk, doesn't fit on front left replacement wheel)
-roomy bench seat (who needs buckets?)
-auto dimming am-fm digital display (when it's hot out you can read the tuner display, as it gets colder it fades away)

Anything else?

2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport

All stock, nothing fancy. 4.0 straight 6. Swallows gas like a hooker lookin' to get paid. The car has been giving me trouble lately. In the last month I have had to get a new battery, crank ignition switch, water pump and then a new hose and clamp for the collant system. Almost a G in the same month I had to drop 2G's on my son's christening. Needless to say I have not had a lot of extra cash to spend in sticks.

I did the lighting because it was fun to wire up. Just something to do I guess. It's stripped down now and will probably be sold as junk. Poor thing had a leak around the windshield but I never found the source of the problem.

I REALLY WANT A MOTORCYCLE. Crotch rocket preferably. Maybe next summer, save on gas, save on insurance. Risk life.

Lol..IIRC, insurance on crotch rockets is pretty high

Ahh.. I thought you were talkin about like a 1300 GSXR 'Busa or somethin haha.

I've got a baby blue '62 Falcon. Straight 6. Small engine (170.) I'm the second owner. Everything on the Falcon is original and I plan to keep it that way. It needs some work and a little cosmetic stuff but I've got no $$$$$$$

I've got a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan. It's not tricked out or anything, but it does have a very good sound system for cranking out the Gipsy Kings when I pick up the tow teenagers from school.

Plus....its the only vehicle that will cary 4 people and a stand up bass.

A '62 Falcon?

:eek:mg: :eek:mg: :eek:mg:

I'm IMPRESSED!!! THAT was a very unique car, and obviously durable. Your car is just a few years younger than me, and that's OLD!!!

Another question for everyone.

What is your dream car? (As in something that you couldn't be able to obtain)

I particuarlly do not have one. All I want and getting is my Lexus IS300 modified for show, GO & Audio compititions.

Studebaker Hawk or a 69 Charger Hemi like the one I had right out of High School, I totaled it racing a full zoot Studebaker Hawk

'02 Dodge Viper GTS/ACR or a '67 black GTO....kinda toss up between them.

I have two really. Either a 63 or a 58 Impala. My dad had both and he customized both as a kid when he bought them new. The 58 he sold and the 63 was stolen out of the church parking lot three weeks after he got it.

That sucks...I hate it when people have to break into cars. I had mine broken into last november. Stole my Pionner 7400 series headunit and my two kicker comp 10's in a sealed box. They ruined my driver side car door lock, busted it in and runied my trunk release.

1999 Lincoln Navigator with chrome package and wheels.
2003 Mercedes Benz SLK 230 with turbocharger
2004 Lexus ES330 off the lot.

My Benz goes back in March. I plan on getting a Hummer H3 with Luxury and Chrome package.

I'm not a huge SUV person. If I did get one, i'd have to say the new honda raider or a GMC Jimmy with the 4.7L V6 w/ the luxury package. I installed on a aftermarket stero in my ex-g/f's Jimmy for x-mas present. It was not hard and it turned out perfectly.

Ever notice when you install things on your personal car, you just don't care unless it's a car you really care about. When you work on other peoples cars, you get extremely perfectionist with it.
