Having a rockstar day so far. Woke up and went shooting. Nailed a perfect round on my first 25 targets. Only 3rd time in my life I have done that. Finished the day at 95/100 crushing my old record of 89. Between sets of 50 I retreated for a smoke where I was treated to a 1999 Ashton VSG Sorcerer. One of the original box presses. Scored it a shocking 96/100. Second best rating given in my life. Now what is for dinner??????

:screw: :grumble: :censored: lol. Just kidding. Good job! As I told you earlier today, we'll see how you do on these Michigan Grouse. Remember, they are not orange, they do not come out of a high house, and they don't fly when you say pull! Just razzin' ya. Congrats on the scores. As I remember, I was with you when you shot one of your first 25's down in Indiana. PULL!!!!!

sounds pretty sweet alex, the three of us need to get together again and celebrate

Alex- I'm glad you enjoyed the VSG so much, i still have a few left in the box(s) Next time you are going to the club I will bring another different cigar from my aging stash.

Now we need to get you up in the 100s!

Cheers!

Tim

Interesting you bought that up Alex, I was watching the History Channel the other night, a show about exhibition shooters to be exact. I forget the guys name but he handtossed eight clays into the air and with a pump action shotgun nailed every single one of them. I was quite impressed to say the least.

I don't mean in any way to downgrade your shooting skill but I just had to mention that guy because it was one of the more impressive things I have seen in a while.

96 huh? Makes me think that those Enchantment's I have stashed should sit for a while longer, maybe 5 years. 8)

"Enchantment" That's the one I was thinking of Alex.

Thanks Cloudy for tickling my memory. That was one of my many favorites.

BTW: I scored an 50/50 in international Skeet today (aka Olympic Skeet) HooWoo! Haven't done that in years.

Cheers!

Alex,

How were those Pepin Sublimes??? I'm still waiting on mine, I can not wait any more!!

Tim: 50/50 is rediculous on International. I cant even shoulder my gun before the clay is past the house. Congrats on you first and hopefully not last 50 strait on international. I think that calls for a cigar next time we are up at the club :D

Thor,

Those Sublimes are rediculously good. It is my running favorite right now. I had one over the weekend and could not put it down. I still have 3 sticks left but after that I will be picking up a box or two. It is by far what I consider the best cigar on the market right now and while you would have to ask me this december, I am going to go out on a limb and rank this one as the best new release in 2006.
