You'll want to scan them large, 300dpi & 100% or something along those lines (i.e. 150dpi & 200%) or larger. But if you can't hook that up, anything is better than nothing.

hey brennivin, I have some different bands I'm going to scan in this weekend, is there a certain email i can send them to so you can add them to your collection?
I like this idea. I was saving all my bands and planning on scanning them when I returned to the states. Mine was just for personal use though. I was planning on starting a digital logbook with ratings and such for the cigars that I smoke, complete with scans of the bands and everything.
