This is the perfect year for a playoff. There is no way you are going to tell me that LSU or Ohio State are better than USC. The championship is ridiculous. I wish they would install an 8 or 10 team playoff system.

It should be Georgia vs USC for the championship.
But WVU has a claim to it now too, and so will LSU when they take care of buisness!

That is exactly the point of a playoff. There are 4 or 5 teams that really have the right to call themselves champion. Don't let some computer choose who is better, lets see it on the field.

I think that every monday evening at 8:00pm est they should air the BS (ummm BCS) computers making their picks! It would be just like powerball. I would be more inclined to watch that than i would half the other matchups in the BS series this year!

We do have a playoff. All 126 or whatever Division I teams were eligible. Every game counts (even against App St. and Stanford. And this year it is a triple elimination tournament for one team that the polsters like and double elimination for the team no one likes.
That's not a playoff. It is a garbage system (no offense) that is all about the almighty dollar, not to see who is truly the best team in the nation. How about we just put every team in a bowl. Forget about rankings, and just call it the fun league!!!
