I was on Yahoo Auctions today. Here were some interesting items.

Anejo Original release. Sizes were slightly different in 2000 when these came out and they originally had 7 year old maduro wrappers aged in cognac barrells. 10 cigars in assorted sizes for 300.00

Ashton VSG Illussion Rounds. 11 Cigars 300.00 These are also a real find. When Ashton contracted the fuentes to make the VSG in the late 90's fuente had never made a square or box pressed cigar. They rolled the initial stock of 50 as they usually do their parejo cigars and found that after pressing them they were to tight and did not draw or burn correctly. Realizing they did not use the right amounts of tobacco they were left with 50000 cigars that were round. To kick off the release of VSG these cigars were put in 1000 boxes of 50 and sold. All production after this was in a square press. That makes the rounds not only rare and limited but also the oldest VSGs on market at over 6 years.

Anyway I thought all this was kind of cool and wanted to pass it along to any collectors or for those of you thinking of starting any type of collection. These are reasonably priced. Not sure if they are still online but they are a good find. I have some of each otherwise I would buy some myself.

That's great hunting. Too bad I'm Johnny's only living brother, . . .

Lohwon Cash.

I've done business with that seller in the past. His prices are reasonable and he does a good job packaging up the smokes.

Personally - buying off Yahoo is usually paying to much.
I'd do a search on the fuente site.
& or check for their charity auctions where these things show up often.
