Removing Cigar smell from hand/fingers?

Yup, lemon juice will clear everything up. It'll take the tusks out of a hippo's mouth. :dunno:

No matter how much I wash my hands, the smell lingers for hours, which doesn't please my lady.

What do you folks do to remedy this, other than let it go?

Not sure why you would want to remove the aroma, especially after a good cigar, part of the pleasure as far as I'm concerned.

As far as pleasing the lady, I think I'll leave that one alone. Not really the format here for that.

Back to the initial question, get a piece of stainless steel (a bench scraper, spoon, or saucepan) and run water over it. Using the water that comes off the metal, rub your hands together. It works every time for garlic and if done longer reduces the smell of tobacco and other smokables
It has something to do with the nickel in the stainless steel reacting with the ions in the water

This works the best. For those who are doubtful, take a clove of garlic and rub it all over your fingers. Now run them under cold water and rub your hands on the faucet. Within seconds the smell is gone!!
