Smoke and Drink?

dont know about sherry, other than it sounds a little "fruity". when drinking anything other than beer with a cigar i sip it very slowly. this is easyer to do with a large brandy sniffter with very little in it.

For the "Squares"

Hey guys, not everyone who smokes drinks the hard stuff...

As such I figured I'd give a quick list of smoke/drink combinations that don't include alcohol.

I very rarely smoke a stick with a natural wrapper. Maduro is my favorite and occasionally I'll do a cameroon, or corojo...something with a little color! What I've noticed is maduro wrappers go well with caramel or chocolate flavors. Overall, I like a maduro smoke with a glass of Coca-Cola. I try to keep the 2 as seamless as possible, so eventually I'm drinking the cigar and smoking the pop...LOL! A swig, a puff...a swig a puff. The fizz from the pop adds another dimension to the smoke, in my opinion.

More specifically, I like the CAO L'Anniversaire maduro, (toro) with coffee...maybe amaretto flavored, or a flavorful roast. (I'm a loyal Gevalia customer.)

If I'm roped into a natural wrapper, I prefer tea, and not that Lipton garbage either...Gevalia has a Cherry Green tea that is to DIE for.

Knob Creek / Makers Mark and a Punch corojo is on my weekend to do list.

morning early birds(or vampires  ).

this may sound 'fruity' to some out there too; but try a double shot irish cream latte with a monte #3!

8) beakfast of champs for the drive to work!!

i like to try very mild naturals in smaller sizes for morning smokes.

Maduro Wrapper & Highland Park Malt Whisky

The smokiness and peaty assertiveness of the HP whisky perfectly compliment the darker stronger accents of a good maduro cigar. Excuse me while I go pour and light up!

Blueberry Tea. Firstly brew a pot of Orange Pekoe tea. Then mix in a brandy snifter glass equal amounts of amaretto and grand marnier so the glass is about 1/4 full. Then pour the tea into the brandy snifter to fill the glass to be about 1/2 full.

As a variance you can also sugar the rim and/or add a orange slice and stir with a cinnamon stick.

This is the BEST after dinner or late night nightcap drink I have ever come across.

:p

I' really like a good coffee with my smokes. Also a good scotch or maybe a good glass of rum. Beer does not cut it for me, for some reason.
