Some questions and recommendations?

Haha, WOW. I see that people are saying "get a BIG humidor". I will keep that in mind.

Let me say a little more about myself. I would vouch that I'm probably one of the youngest people in these forums. I am almost 23, and still in college, which I attend in Boston, MA. Once out (next year), I'm moving to L.A. to start my life. My current living space and financial situation is NOT ideal for big humidors at the moment. Cigars are lovely, but like all fine tastes, it's expensive to get into. However, there's nothing like having a social gathering and whipping out the box of fine cigars, and offering your hospitality to friends. (not implying yuppiness  ).

I've never and will not smoke cigarettes, but I'll smoke cigars and a few "other" things if you know what I mean 'hint hint'. Yes, I am a musician. :D

I geniunely enjoy cigars, and am glad my brother-in-law introduced me to them. My first time I bought two cigars when I was visiting Boston at the time. I smoked both in one sitting. I remember my brother-in-law saying "I've created a monster". HAHAHA. I am interested in cigar knowledge and culture, and surely wouldn't mind to learn about such a nitch and fine taste. Some people know wines, I'll choose to know cigars. I'm off to a good start with my humidor and 40 cigars, but it'll have to wait until I get into buying 1000 cigar cases and cubans.

Thanks for all the help so far.

Welcome to the forum fxscreamer.

My advice would be to get a big humidor, I started with a 40ct and about a week later decided that it was not going to be big enough, as far as cigar recommendations go...The guys here have given you some very good ones, I would add Cuesta Rey's, Partagas and Rocky Patel VSG's.

Welcome fxscreamer. Stick around and you'll learn everything you need and some you really don't want to know.
