I know, I'm a stinkin' weasel. Maybe it's some bizzare form of justice though. I came just about as close to a DD PIF right before the last time I "won" a few months ago.
Alas, I can't tease all of you from work anymore. They've moved us all into a big, noisy, open room. It's a programmer's version of hell... they put phone people in the same room! About all I can do at work is sneak on quick and post a short question.
I'm also on manager #6 in a year, and all the chaos is more than this Java/unix guy can take. That along with dealing with recruiters is affecting my memory and I'm having trouble remembering what I'm supposed to ask. I think it was something about mooching cigars. Blast... what was it? Who wants to send me some sticks? Hmm... no, that's not right. Who wants to send BigPaintbrush some sticks? That doesn't sound right either. You only have to send BP sticks once, and you've all already done that right? Obviously BP doesn't mind extra shipments, but if I remember right only the first one is mandatory unless of course you've got a box of cigars and you're not sure if they're any good. Ok, I give up. Somebody help me out here.
Ok, I'm home from work. You can all start your PIF vigils. I'll probably be up until about 23:00 CDT, so maybe sometime between now and then... or maybe tomorrow.
Hmm... quiet around here. I guess I'll have to wait a bit. No fun asking until there are some more people around.
