Tee Time Golf

Roland, I like Jim's idea - how many cigars would it take for your caddying services?

PS: you can use the foot wedge on my shots when Jim isn't looking.

I live in AZ so we can play year round. +10 on any course is nice. Means you were hitting the ball consistantly with the clubs you were using :)

I've only played twice in January. Then got sick and haven't played since then.

The courses and greens everywhere are looking really nice now. And the weather couldn't be any better here in southern Cali! Most, if not all, courses have been aerated and seeded, and ready for the Spring tees! I can't wait for the doctor to give me the go ahead.

Masters starts today woohoo. Anyone have a pick (aside from Tiger)? I think Adam Scott has a chance.

I've pondered that for a week now.
Really tough call though.

Tiger is everyones choice, naturally.
Phil is defending his title. He may start out good, but once he falters in rounds 2 or 3, it's all downhill. Maybe this year his mentality has changed. I didn't watch him win at Pebble Beach, but he needs to keep that same pace. My choice for the Masters.
Ernie Els may have a chance.
Sergio Garcia, well, I like his commercials. Is that brunette his wife?
Vijay did a super job winning in Hawaii, so he's also on my list.
I wouldn't be surprised if Olozabal (spelling?) steps up to the plate and comes in at least in the top 5.
My wife will be cheering for KJ Choi, because he's Korean.

But in the long run, my vote goes to Kelvin.
Give him a cigar, and he'll smoke out anyone on the field. :D

Thanks for the vote of confidence, T.

I had to withdraw this year - it's been rough because Tiger gets a little rattled when I am there (his wife has the hots for me) so I thought I would take the high road.

My longshot is Charles Howell III - dead last a year ago. I like cinderella stories. Plus Tiger will be worried that I might show up.

It's gotta be tough to be a top notch pro golfer, wealthy beyond beleif, and have a wife (or girls!!!) 99% of the population couldn't touch!
I wouldn't mind trading places with any of the top 250

Yesterday I was hitting balls next to Karen Koch of the LPGA. It is amazing how consitant pro's are (male or female) even when practicing. She was actualy very nice, I happened to have the identical bag she had so she had to comment on it. And throw me a few tips that realy helped my swing!!!

Honestly, I have met alot of athletes and have never asked for an autograph. I think it is fun to talk with people, but to me they are just that, people. I actualy think famous people would rather just chat, then they do not feel you want something from them.

If you are going to make fun of me Chris, I expect you to spell the word "grope" correctly. Thank you for bringing up that incident.
