Stuff like this is kind of like a religious doctrine, a fad, a social trend, etc. I watched the news the other day with a friend about a bottle of tequila going for a quarter million, if I remember correctly.
The cigar will actually be "worth it" in SOMEBODY'S market, the minute ONE person steps up to pay for it. From that moment on, a market is created, except if no one else ever buys it. The thing is, once someone does, someone else will. From then on, nothing will stop certain people, even if it's only a precious few, from continuing to own this "thing," whatever it is at the moment.
Look at how rotund housewives punched each other out over cabbage patch dolls, now a couple decades ago. Anyone remember that footage?

this should fall in the catagory of More MONEY than Brains dept. , 15K for a box of cigars , just 20 sticks is kind of "OUTSIDE the BOX" but if I had Bill Gates money , then it would just be pocket change . even if I hit the lottery for 100Milloin , I would pass on this cigar, who wants a 750 buck FLAVORIED cigar ????

I've seen this cigar on auction sites. I don't think I would really pay more than $25 for any cigar unless it was something I really wanted to have for a special occasion eg. Opus Forbidden X or Padron 1926.
I think I would rather spend the 1,400 on the bottle of King Louis XIII and drink it WITH a cigar, but sure as hell not a Gurkha!
