Thompson Cigar sampler?

thanks bloof. i have been trying some cheaper labels, connies, and el ccreditos. connies are as good as most 6.00 cigars, just lit the el credito. and have been reading posts about others. with most name brands, i can purchase locally, and order bundles if i like. cannot due with house brands. at this point, it has become a mission to evaluate most of these, and would like to avoid the bad ones, and dont want to miss the good ones.

My experiences with the big T were not as bad as others have shared. They have so many ever changing house brands, it would be hard to try them all. Most I tried have ranged from mediocre to bad. All have been inconsistant. They do ocasionally have fair deals on decent quality humidors with decent name brand cigars. They may try to give you the hard sell on joining their club or scheduling regular shipments, but if you 'just say no', you can avoid that. Other than their special combo deals, their prices are too high. I have not bought from them in years. Incidentally, I had some of their house sticks which tasted awful when I first received them...after about 12 months rest they had improved a great deal (not enough to want more).
