It's been a while since I've posted here and I've been smoking the hell out of some cigars. Today I've smoked a HC Maduro, an Oliva Serie V Milanio and to finish it off I'm on the HC Habano². Happy smoking everyone!¡!

Torano Exodus 1959 box press robusto, JR alternative to Fuente Canone and an old CT padilla fuma.

I like that Exodus also. We just got the box press at the B&M I go to so I'll have to try it in that size.

Liga Privada No. 9 & a HC Maduro today.

I had a fantastic cigar today - Cohiba Siglo IV. I don't smoke often anymore - so this was a big treat!!

Another Ct churchill Gran Habano overrun and a Nicaro sun grown habano toro.

Black Crown this morning, a CAO MX2 mid-day and a RyJ Reserve Real to finish the day. I haven't smoked a RyJ in such a long time but it was a very pleasant smoke.

Omar Ortez yesterday, and an IT SF Maduro today, sitting in the sun!!

Stealth, how was the Black Crown ?

A couple of Punch toros and a La Bamba toro- maybe another after dinner.

It's a decent medium bodied smoke. I like it for a late night smoke.

We had an event at the local B&M and had Shorty Rossi come and promote his line of cigars. I smoked 2 San Bajitos (his personal blend) this evening and a LFD Limitado

I like the San Bajito, very flavorful and the only negative is that they get hot when you get close to the nub. I can't decide whether I like the robusto or torpedo better. Isn't Shorty involved in another brand blending too ?

He has seven cigars that he's involved with. The Drew Estates Acid Kuba Kuba Shorty, the Natural Shorty, the Diesel Shorty, the Diesel Grind Shorty, the Punisher Shorty and the two San Bajitos. They all come in 4.5x60. The San Bajitos are the only blend that he personally blended himself in Nicaragua. Also, the only sizes available for the San Bajito are the belicoso and robusto, both 4.5x60 but diffiernent heads. The Diesels, Drew Estates and Cu-Avana were a deal that he made with those companies to put his name on and have made in the 4.5x60 size. He gave me a Kuba Kuba and a Natural and I had him sign the Kuba Kuba since I would never smoke it anyway. That's the long answer. In short, no, he's never blended any other cigar himself except the San Bajito.

A churchill and a toro Bacchus natural and a few work cigars while pouring concrete.

Another Jose Marti, Bacchus churchill and a couple of work cigars while picking beans.

Bolivar Coffradia toro,Gurkha Widowmaker natural churchill, Fonseca churchill and a JR alternate to Fuente Canone. Perhaps another Jose Marti after dinner. The Jose Marti's do not appear to have improved with age.

Stealth, what do you think of the HC line ? I've not been impressed with the HC CT robusto.

Punch toro, Devil's Weed churchill, Jose Marti Trinidad figurado, a work cigar and an HC CT broadleaf robusto.

I like pretty much everything that they've put out so far. I did find out that Xikar isn't going to be doing these any more. They sold to Phillips and King (I think) but they won't be rebranding them. I smoke a lot of HCs, my every day smoke. My preferred is the Habano² but I really like the Habano Colorado also. They make a Maduro that's sold online at retailers like CI and Cigar.com, pretty decent also. The Connecticut is ok, I'd say a good morning smoke to me.

I smoked 2 Habano² Belicosos today. I was doing filming on a production I'm working on and couldn't smoke while I was doing that. One in the morning and one in the evening. A pretty light day for me.

Is the Devil's Weed any good?
