24 degrees here this morning. Again the wind is blowing like crazy and only makes it more miserable. I used to love cold weather. I am finding that the older I get, the less I like it. Ah, the aches and pains.....

Sitting out back smoking right now. Pretty cold. I've got some ribs sitting with rub right now. Going to get the grill going in a couple if hours. Not meaning to brag, but my ribs are very good. Looking forward to later!!!

Just finished smoking a Red Witch.......... it's 43 degrees out there!¡! I was bundled up though. I NEED a space heater out there!¡!

The high here may get up to 32 by Saturday-freezing day and night until then. We've got about a foot of snow and ice on the ground. It will be a while before I light up a good cigar.

The big freeze is on. Started yesterday afternoon and it looks like it will be below freezing until Tuesday of next week(29th). Went out and burned up some tree litter around noon and managed to smoke a crappy robusto. Looks like it will be mini cigars for the duration.
Oh yeah, we are getting a bit of snow now and more on Friday.

6 below this morning, 12 below a few miles up the way. It's supposed to get up to 8 this afternoon and wind chills as low as -18. It could break out of the single digits tomorrow and our 8 days below freezing should end Tuesday afternoon.

Set a new temperature high for the date yesterday. Nasty weather last night with the storm coming in from the west. I moved both vehicles to the extension of my neighbor's driveway as it looked like some broken limbs might come down in my parking area. Good move- one large limb did com down and might have hit the nose of my truck. Still very windy out there today and the second January thaw will be ending tonight putting us back in another below freezing streak.

Sixth day below freezing tho not very much so in the daytime. Now we are expecting a storm or maybe even a blizzard with 1-2 feet of snow or more starting Friday morning through mid-day Saturday.

Snow coming to an end here this AM accumulation in the teens of inches here and up to 34.5 inches or more near the shoreline as of 6 AM with strong winds and drifting. Area airports closed, state roads now all closed. Power outages less than expected, with major problem areas in the southeastern part of the state. Current temperature was 12 with a wind chill of -10. The sun may come out around noon, so I'm staying in until then.

Another cold day here with light snow. I haven't left the house and I'm not going to. No cigar and no pipe today. Spring may be around the corner, but I have an Aurora 1495 calling to me along with a couple of other recent receipts resting in humidors. High today was 28 and only 30 expected tomorrow and I'm almost out of little cigars. Can I hold out till Tuesday for a smoke ?

It been snowing off and on since yesterday afternoon. Today it has been somewhat heavy from time to time but it hasn't been sticking on surfaces other that our snow covered areas. It's supposed to get colder tonight and the snow is supposed to get very heavy. They are now saying about 10 inches of heavy snow. Did a little work outside today and managed to smoke a couple of work robustos. The weather is supposed to warm up after it stops snowing tomorrow afternoon and I'm planning to smoke a few good cigars. On the list is a La Aurora 1495 robusto, a Torano Virtuosa robusto, a Cu Avana CT torpedo and an Omar Ortiz honduran maduro. I hope the warm up lasts long enough for a few others as I currently have a couple of dozen cigars in plastic bags because I'm totally out of room in the humidors and I really don't want to get another humidor.

Will the weather spring ever come ? Expecting 4-8 inches of snow tonight with sleet and freezing rain tomorrrow. No forecasts showing warm weather anytime soon. It's been cold and rainy with highs in the low 30's and wind chills in the low 20's. I'm running out of robusto work cigars and dying to try a few good cigars.
