Wondering why I don't hear much talk about the VSG.
Back in the day I used to Love the Tres Mystic.
Have they gone down in quality or just not available everywhere?

Evidently, they are not as good (or full bodied) as when they first came out. I never had the early years, but I do enjoy the recent VSG's.

THey just dont make them like they used to. I still have 2 of the original rounds left and one estate reserve that I am sitting on. Other then those I have a box of sourcerer that I picked up about 18 months ago that I am just sitting on to see what happens. I remember when that cigar was amazing.

By the way, if anyone finds any rounds, dont let them go. Those were the best.

I think it's because the VSG has been a little harder to get recently and most cigar lovers really haven't noticed because of the increasing number of great cigars in the market today.

Why hunt VSGs when there are so many other great cigars out there?

I enjoy the VSG's still, they are a nice change of pace from what I normally smoke, I smoke VSG's when I need a break from the fuller bodied stuff I usually smoke

VSG is nice, but there are a lot of other cigars out that are as good or better for half the price... VSG's go for $14+ around here.

sort of a combo of what others said, i smoked them a few times a month untill i had one of the "good" ones from the early years. after that the new ones i bought in store weren't as good and with the price on them i couldn't justify buying them. You already know id rather have a $6 choix over just about anything else :D

Are you saying you want a Choix Supreme???
I only have old one's and no one wants the old ones!

I still really like the VSGs but they are somewhat difficult to get a hold of recently. Most places are sold out and when they do get more in they go fast.
