I'll tell ya what happens!
Ya get mad...really mad...that its finished. Then you get madder...because you realize that you don't have another one...then you realize that the smoke shop is closed....so you become furious...you kick the dog....beat the daughter....yell at the wife...chug a beer....two.... then you remember...you bought one months ago and its sitting in a humibag in the office drawer.......

life is so sweet...then...Ya get mad...really mad...that its finished. Then you get madder...etc....etc...

man...finally had one :D these things are great! In my top five now. I'll be swinging by the cigar shop on my way home today to get a few more...

a new hobby...smoking diplomas

Keep that up and you'll need a spare wife, daughter, and dog too - you would think the Diploma would come with those...

haha
I had one the other nite. I wasn't sure what to expect because everyone talks them up so much...From the very first draw...you get that unmistakable( leather spice cocco ?) camacho taste on your lips...

I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar...smoked perfectly...lots of creamy smoke...strong but not bitter...

I gotta save my money and buy a box of these..

way impressed.

edited for spelling

You're all gonna laugh at me but....who makes the diploma?

I keep hearing about these smokes so now I'm very curious to try one.
Who makes them and where can I find one!?

what I love about the diploma is if you just put it in your mouth for 30 seconds without lighting it. Almost immediately you lips almost start to hurt you can taste so much floror. One it starts to tingle, it is light up time.

Alex:

Any idea when you guys will be getting the singles in? I have been hoping to order them but they have been "on order" for a bit.

Thanks - Kelvin

Thanks Bro - I have got some sticks set aside for you too man. I am looking forward to joining the diploma club.

I've only gotten to try one once...
It was SOOOO GOOD.

Damnit, now i have to go and by myself a couple tonight.
Pooor me.
:)

I don't have a diploma, just a GED. It seems as though the furor surrounding these cigars is just too much to go unnoticed, so I think I'll have to wind up buying one.

I can see the headlines now. Bloof Jailed For Attempting To Buy Diploma.

Who told him to walk into the local high school and try to buy it anyway? It's a cigar, you SMOKE it, you jackass!!!! :duh: :duh:

I had my first Diploma on Thursday, thanks to Macallan. I had to see what all the hoopla was about. It is a fine cigar, what makes it stand out for me is the the strength of the cigar, not for the light hearted by any means. The one I tried had a very open draw, pretty much one dimensional in terms of flavor, for me mostly pure unadultrated tabacco flavors. That is not a bad thing by any means. A little bready at times. The burn was perfect, I did have to relight a few times but I was smoking it slowly. I hadn't eaten all day, had some water with the cigar, but it was strong enough I couldn't smoke any faster. I was at my sons football game which got called in the second quarter because of lightening. I did nub the cigar while hiding out waiting to see if the game would resume. The next one I try will be after a full meal and when I can just sit for a bit. With all that said, it was an enjoyable smoke and warrants revisiting.

That does it. If nmcowboy can chime in with a review and endorsement like that, then it's time for me to go hunting.

First, I have to hunt down some cash. Then I'll get a Diploma. That won't mean I'll be any smarter, but I WILL know what that ding dang cigar tastes like, at long last. I need to check Cigar.com and see what a box of Churchills goes for.

Wait a second!!! :eek:mg:

Nmcowboy says it's a strong smoke. That seems to be the general consensus among all, as a matter of fact.

:duh: :duh: What a jerk I am. If I buy that box, I won't be able to smoke any until NEXT football season. Ah, haaaaaaaaaaaa!!! They WILL however, make good package inclusions. My humidors have been going down lately, what with a couple packages I sent out and smoking two or three cigars a week over the summer. This will not only help them get filled again, but also won't leave me wondering what to send people when I'm digging around in the desk tops. I guess I'll keep that Hands Of Time Fuente Sampler for myself, and maybe order another. I haven't had any Ashton Virgin Sun Grown's in a long time, and it sure was good to see two of them in that sampler.

Heyyyyyyyy, wait just a Hippo Beach!!! minute here. I won't be able to smoke those VSG's until next football season either!!!

:flush: :flush: :flush:

Hey, can we have a grave site emoticon? Like a headstone with a cross and a patch of earth kind of thingy??? I need to bring that question to the Administrators. That would be cool, a grave site emoticon. 11 years in the funeral business, nine years out, and I can't stop thinkin' about the business. :sm_angel:
