Yea, I was pretty pleased with my haul for the day. I'll have to cool it for awhile though. I was eyeballing the Partagas 160, but it was just way too expensive for a single cigar.

Perdomo rep came to town today...

Got an Estate Vintage 1991 Aristocrata (Churchill) just for stopping by. Then I got four of the Perdomo Lot 23's - 2 toros and 2 belicosos. It was weird...the guy kept trying to push me toward the new Golf Edition since I guess they have the same wrapper as the lot 23. But, I know the Lot 23 is really good. There was a buy 3 get 1 free deal that originally did not include the Lot 23 because theyare too 'inexpensive' I can't complain though. I eventually got my way and got some good cigars for not a lot of money.

RP Vintage 1990 6x60
RP Vintage 1992 6x60
Ashton Cabinet Series
Regular Ashton

I really like the flavor of the RPs but have always found that they have a tighter draw than I like. I heard that the 60 gauges had better draws, so I'm gonna let them sit for a couple of weeks and find out.

You might try opening the ends up a little bit more on the RP's. I had the same problem but the torpedoes do just fine.

Good tip. Most of my cigars I punch, but some just need to be cut. Cinco Vegas 'A' come to mind.

I'll have to see whether that makes a difference. Thanks for the thought. Maybe I'll have to try the torpedos, I've only had the toro size thus far.

I'll try to be a good boy this time and let them rest for 30 days before firing one up. (Yeah, right, like that's gonna happen.)

Are those the Familiar?

Purchased a box of the CAO MX2's. Man, I cannot wait to get my hands on these. I also picked up a five pack of the Perdoma Reserve Maduro figurado size.

Are those the Familiar? I forgot how much I love Vegas Robaina.

Yes sir, Familiar is what they be. :)

I'm eager to get Familiar with them too.
