What Smokes Did You Buy Today?

I just ordered a box of Gurkha East India Churchills with the Sumatran wrapper.

Let's see.. today I took advantage of the RP Connecticut One Day Special at CCOM. This week I also picked up some 5 Vegas "A" torpedos (15) and 4 of the 5 Vegas Miami Petit Coronas (this size didn't come with my sampler).

Yesterday, actually. Pulled the trigger on the Cigar.com special - Rocky Patel Connecticut sampler.

I am more of a full-bodied cigar smoker, but occasionally a mild cigar that is full of flavor is a great smoke. Macanudo? Yecchhh... But I am hoping these are similar to some of the other great mild cigars - the old Cifuentes line (1993-95), Diamond Crown, Moore & Bode.

Time will tell.

Well, I stumbled in to a B&M that I had seen for years but never stopped by. It was incredible. In addition to the huge selection of cigars, 100+ different varieties, they have a full bar, a pool table, and two card tables. Anyway... I picked up a Camacho Tirple Maduro 4.5x50. It's gonna be had to let this one sit in the humi for a few weeks.

I just ordered a 5 Vegas Miami sampler from my cigar rep @ c.com. Here's what's in it...

5 Vegas Miami Sampler Includes:
2 - 5 Vegas Miami Robusto (5" x 50)
2 - 5 Vegas Miami Toro (6" x 48)
2 - 5 Vegas Miami Torpedo (6.1" x 52)
2 - 5 Vegas Miami Churchill (7" x 48)

You're gonna like those Miami's Biggeek. In fact, if you don't I guarantee I'll gladly take them off your hands! My fave sizes in order are:

Toro
Robusto
Churchill
Torpedo - odd because I usually like torps more than most the other sizes

Haven't tried the petit coronas yet but that will change as soon as my next package arrives.

Gurkha Centurian X 6

and a new punch cutter. i lost the cap to my old one.

i liked my old cutter.

RIP old punch cutter :boohoo:

HELLOOOOO NEW ONE!!! :D

5 Vegas Gold Robusto X2
CAO Gold Robusto X1
Cusano Corojo 1997 Robusto X2
Cusano 18 Dbl Conn Robusto X2

(as many Cusano 18 singles that I have purchased I should have ordered a box-or two)

Just got in on the Friday deal at cigar.com. Picked up the 10 pack of Perdomo ESV 1991 Phantoms. Also was able to add on 10 of them in Maduro for the same price.

My next purchase has to be a box of RASS though.

Trent

1 box 5 Vegas Classic Coronas
1 box 5 Vegas Miami Petit Coronas
1 box Camacho Corojo Petits

Just arrived today from KCIA

3 boxes of Partagas (5 each), with label intact and health warning from Kuwaiti gubmint.

Was at the local shop today talking about Perdomo and Pepin so figured I'd pick up a few by each.

2 Tatuaje
2 Perdomo Habano (the new ones by Perdomo)
2 AF maduro
2 San Cristobal
2 Perdomo Cabinet Series Cameroon
1 Camacho Triple Maduro

And the owner threw in 2 Padilla Miami Lanceros for free. They're having a Perdomo event in 2 weeks that I'm going to check out when I get off work.

I stopped by the B&M just before halftime of the Purdue game on Saturday.
I hadn't been there in a long while, and I was surprised at some of the changes they made. They used to sell Fuente, Macanudo, and Punch in huge quantities and varieties, with a select handful of other labels tossed in for variety.
I was surprised to find that they have added Rocky Patel, Partagas, Torano, and CAO in some quantity, and they widened their selections of Montecristo, Ashton, RyJ, and a few others. Also, much to my delight, they now carry more Padron's than just the half-full box of 3000 naturals that had been sitting on the shelf since time out of mind.

So I made myself a little sampler as quickly as I could (Purdue was up 31-0 at the half) and promised myself that I'll have to go back someday when I have more time to linger.
I picked up one of each:
Arturo Fuente 8-5-8 Flor Fina Cameroon
Arturo Fuente Corona Imperial Maduro
CAO Brazilia Gol
La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda Sumatra
Montecristo Media Noche Edmundo (for a friend)
Punch Rare Corojo Pita
Rocky Patel Segundo Robusto (Natural)
Rocky Patel Segundo Robusto (Maduro)

I also got a 3-pack of Partagas
1 Partagas Naturales
1 Partagas Black Clasico
1 Partagas Spanish Rosado San Augustin

As I browsed, I noticed that the hygrometer was reading 48% and 67 degrees, so I'm thinking I'll be letting these rest in the humidors for a while, which is too bad, because a few of them are new to me and I was really looking forward to trying one.

By the way, Purdue won 45-22, and I celebrated with a few boilermakers (homebrewed brown ale with Maker's Mark back) and a Cigar.com Cuban Label Churchill.
