What's the strongest cigar you've encountered?

I have yet to succumb to a strong cigar, but I have to say the one that came the closest was the Camacho Coyolar. I think if I had a drink or two beforehand I would have been screwed.

Litto Gomez Diez. It's a Dominican Puro and it took me out. I've got another one sitting in my humidor but I'm a little bit apprehensive. And I was able to smoke the Camacho Coyolar and fresh Opus X's with no problem.

Ah yeah...

had a La Flor Dominicana Limitada II on an empty stomach.......

That's a great question. For me the one cigar that kicked my arse but good even after a good meal and a couple of drinks was the Gurkha Titan. Not only do you have to plan ahead for this cigar, you had better have an after plan as well. I'm not talking about getting sick or anything but walking was a real problem after this fine cigar........ :D

what was surpising strong was the Maria Mancini's. It was super smooth and you would never notice how strong it was until you stood up at the end of the entire cigar.

Gurkha Legend Beast. But that's probably because it was freakin' huge. Other than that, the JFR's do it for me. I'm sure some will say the Diploma, and yes it is a full cigar, but it never was overpowering for me.

the camacho diploma. i had a full stomach and still i could feel it.

the elcobre was supposed to be a strong cigar but i dint find it all that strong.

It would be a toss up between a Diploma, a "fresh" Opus #5, and a LG Chisel Puro

Camacho Diploma. I have smoked two of these, both on an empty stomach , both times my stomach became emptier afterwards.

Joya De Nicaragua Antano Consul :eek:mg:

I've heard this as well. There's a podcast out there where one of the guys attests to its strength almost every other show.

Yes, the Joya is no joke in my opinion. It left me feeling quite woosey (sp?) for about an hour. At any rate, eat first, sit while smoking, and stand up slowly once finished.

That's funny.

I'd have to say the La Flour Dominicana double ligero. I smoke the 600's all the time, but when my local shop only had the bigger Churchill size left, we'll lets just say that extra 2 inches was almost over the top.

I would have to agree with the Camacho Diploma, I really like these cigars but don't smoke many because they tend to knock me on my butt. The La Flor Dom. and Opus X are good strong cigars but I don't get the same nicotine rush from them.

The Diplomas tend to be pretty loose too, which I tend to like when I hit a couple of plugged unsalvagable cigars and want something guaranteed

Camacho Coylar perfecto #1. I had it first thing in the morning. I had to hold onto my arm rests to keep from falling over in my chair. Strong little stick.

Got kicked by a Gurkha Beast once, but only once.Keeep looking for another buzz but it just don't happen.

I never had a problem with the Antano until I smoked an Antano Gran Consul, that thing made me feel light in the gut for about an hour afterward. Apart from that nothing really bothers me.

The Camacho Coyolar Perfecto will get your motor running, but the Coyolar Titan will kick it in the arse!

The diploma's are just perfect.
