Who thinks bigger is better?

I prefer robustos. The larger the ring size the cooler the smoke is.
That's been my experience as well. I like robusto's and double corona's depending on how long a smoke I want.

I too prefer a bigger cigar, but usually don't have the time to devote an hour to anything besides yard work - so that is when I do most of my smoking.

Like Motion said, I keep a variety of smokes around, and just pick one to suit my mood at the time. There you go!! 8) 8)

I prefer small ring gauge cigars 39-42 of the 6-7" length variety. Davidoff 3000 or Trinidad Fundadores come to mind.

The Trinidad Fundadores is my all time favorite. 2 hours of pure smoking pleasure!

Anyone other than myself ever discuss cigar size and length on the phone with a buddy, just to have their wife walk in?

"yea, I prefer mine around six inches and not too thick, does't fit in my mouth that well, how about you, you like big long ones?"

I usually stick to a 50 ring or smaller, sometimes 52....My favorite ring is a 44, 6"-7" Partagas 8-9-8, RyJ Cazadores are some of my current favorites....

It really all depends on my mood and time of day, and how much time I have.....

I think my all time favorite size is a 7 or 7.5 x 42 or 44. But it varies every day!

In NC's, I prefer a thicker ring gauge. I think they add to the complexity of the blend.

In Cubans, I prefer a slimmer ring gauge. I think it adds to the strength and purity of the blend (less volado).

Time, of course, is always of the essence. The time I have dictates the length of the cigar I choose.

I guess it really depends on the cigar. In general, I prefer robustos and torpedoes. It's just so much easier to cut a torpedo. My favorite torpedo is probably the 5 Vegas followed by the 5 Vegas Alpha. You can't beat a Cohiba Esplindido for a churchill though.

After reading this thread the first time, I decided to tackle the IT Cameroon monster that I recieved quite some time ago in a PIF package, and have decided that 52 or 53 is about the biggest I want to smoke. That 60 guage cigar was great, but it was just too big for me.

I'm more of a torpedo guy, also like the robustos in bigger ring gauges too!
but i do carry a variety of sizes for time available to smoke

I dig a Beli or torp the best. Anything in the 50 ring gauge size is good for me doesnt matter how long it is.
