Ok you guys had lots of recommendations on cigars. Now I am looking to buy me a humidor I have a older one that was given to me but I want a bigger one. I am looking for one about a 100 count I think. What is a decent one? The only thing I have been told to look out for is Spanish cedar lining...
Once again in my short time of smoking cigars I have run out of room in the 2 Humidors I have (I am sure this has never happened to anyone else before). I am looking for more of a display Humidor with a fair amount of dividers or something to show the one and two count cigars I have. My wife...
Not a cigar smoker, so I'm seeking education from the masters. Just returned from my honeymoon in Jamaica. Brought back some Cohiba Esplendidos. What's the best way to store them? Don't have a humidor.
Hi all -
Just wondering if anyone has ever purchased a humidor from http://www.cubancrafters.com/ , and if they have any opinions of their humidors.
Thanks

Need some advice, gentlemen.....
It's been so hot out here for the last 3 weeks that my humidor temp and humidity is almost out of control.
Temp has been fluctuating between 77 and 80 degrees with the humidity going between 68 and 72%
I don't have any A/C in my house so I can't cool...
Summer is here, and is been 70 to 95 degrees the past week. I'm having a hell of a time keeping my humidors cool. I keep the humi's in my bedroom and try to keep the room temp aroung 72degrees. So the humi temp is 73 to 77 degrees. I really don't have any other place to store my humis. I affraid...
I just purchased my first humidor and can't wait to fill it with cigars, but want to make sure it's completly ready for the cigars. I've heard the first thing to do is calibrate the hygrometer with the salt test, but I have a humidor with a built in hygrometer and the guage is on the outside of...
Hi everyone, I'm rather new to the hobby and I need a hand!
I have a generic humidor that my dad got me when I was in college, but I neglected the cigar lifestyle for a few years and kept junk in it.
I recently remembered how much I love cigars, so I cleaned out the humi, wiped down the...

Hey all, the last month or so temps in Fla have been pretty warm, and I don't know why I didn't pay attention to temps before, but my humi temps are at about 77 deg. I've been so worried about humidity levels I totally forgot to be worried about temps.
I've not heard of any other...
I ordered the Friday package 2 weeks ago and got my Southport humidor loaded with cigars, and a few new ones Chris sent me (THANKS by the way). I have repeatedly drenched my humidifier with distilled water, and wiped down the inside once or twice. My crappy analog reader was working when I did...
Much to my suprise, I was just given a box of "southern" cigars from a friend who just came back from Europe. I can fit the whole box in the right side of the tray, in my 150ct humidor. Should I leave these cigars in the box or should I take them out of the box and store them. I really could...
I don't have a humidor but I have a Monte Cristo #1 box that it said it was humidor Quality I don't know if I should use it or not. what u think. its a white box with brass hinges and felt botom it sure looks like one the inside is spanish cedar.
I had questions regarding humidor care. I've seen a lot of products on websites that relate to them, but I'm wondering if they're gimmick products. I know you're supposed to use distilled water for soaking the sponges. Also, do certain steps need to be taken differently regarding different...
I am new to the forums and just wanted to say hello. So "Howdy"

I have an old cedar chest that I was thinking about making into a humidor- I know that I would need to create a good seal for the lid. My question is would regular cedar work sufficiently or would it need to be spanish cedar? Thanks for the help.
