Here is a second installment from 1999 reviews. Mind you, these were all blind reviews. What I mean is, each cigar came as a sample of 3 -4 sticks in a baggie. Each was marked very simply, as you see below (A size #59, Robusto #61, etc...). You were to smoke all the samples before reviewing...
OK, this is the first of a couple reviews I am going to post. They all have one thing in common. They are the original reviews, as I wrote them, for SMOKE in 1999. Yes, before they edited them to put in as one of the panelists.
I am curious. How do these reviews stack up today? What I...
Cuba Aliados - Palma (7X36) from 1993
A friend from this forum gifted me one of these. Thought I’d give a review.
First though, some other information. I searched far and wide for a name for this cigar. It must not be made anymore, because I couldn’t find any information about a CA in...
Are there any fans here? I tried my first yesterday, a red one someone gave me...not a fan...I felt like I was smoking flavored incense, even the wrapper tasted like sugar or something..just my humble opinion..I tossed it.
Has anyone tried these yet? If so, any opinions? I think this is a corojo wrapper from what I understand and I'd be very interested in givng one a try.
Thanks.
This is not a review or rating, so much as a request for everyone's comments, likes, displeasures with this line.
i am very interested in them, and will probably start with the most logical place and order the starter sampler.
i was just curious as to how these smokes were going over...

After a terribly hot day, I smoked this fine cigar that Rodney sent me in a PIF. I had a bit of sun sickness today from doing yardwork in this crazy heat, but after dinner I felt much better and the lady & I headed outside to the swing on the uncovered patio after it got dark and cooled down a...
Ok I smoked a Don Pepin Garcia cuban classic today. It was wicked bitter. I have had other Don Pepin cigars but this one was just well nasty. Did I simply get a dud or what?
I did a trade with Rob and this was my receipt. Nice looking little sticks with a light brown wrapper and very well contructed. Just a slight vien, but nothing big. The pre light draw was easy. This stick is small (5 x 37) so it only had a first half and second half. It started off light with...
Hi all,
I got sent a box of these by mistake. Has anyone had any experiance with them. I may end up keeping them, just wanted a little input befor cracking open the plastic around the box.

I've been wanting to try this cigar for quite some time now, and since my gf was kind enough to get me a few nice cigars for father's day (17 of them to be exact) I saved this for an after dinner smoke. I was going to let it age a bit but anticipation got the better of me. Besides, I've been...
Looking for anyone who tried these cigars to provide a review.
As you well know, I'm a Cusano fan, but haven't found anything on the revamped Xclusivo cigar or CI's Gray Label (Cusano blend).
If you have it, smoke it and give us a review. 8)
Thanks

The weather here was warm in Southern NJ, the thermometer was at 81 when I sat down this evening to smoke. I headed out to the front porch with a tall glass of water, and a rocks glass of Bacardi 8 with a single cube in it...
Yesterday wanting a cigar I decided to sift through the top of my humi where my singles are. Npt sure what I was in the mood for a very dark cigar caught me eye. I plucked it from the humi and turned it to read the label Gurkha X-Fuerte 7.0 x 52. This cigar is perhaps the darkest cigar I have...
Last night we were discussing this cigar, and I promised to smoke one, and then start this review thread on it.
This is a 5 x 54 cigar with all long filler Nicaraguan filler and an Indonesian Sumatra wrapper. Appearance was nearly flawless, with a few small veins, and a very nice cap. They...
This is a copy of a review I posted on HCF. I would like to share it with everyone who does not visit there.
This review was split between two nights; Tuesday and Wednesday.

This is my introduction to this Forum. I'm a Monthly Cigar Member, and wanted to give this great Cigar a quick review! This cigar only (out of 3 others I have) was a little veiny, and the wrapper was a bit dry (again, the others I have are not), but it lite up just fine. It starts out w/a...
Has anyone bought any of these yet? I have been dying to try them, but have not been able to get out to my smoke shop to buy a few. I've noticed on a lot of sites it has gotten amazing ratings. Anyone have a review yet?
Has anyone tried this cigar yet? I enjoy the Series O and thr O maduros. I'm thinking about buying a boxor the MB III's but was wondering if anyone had tried the robustos or double robustos and had a review.
