Well, decided to start on the cigar collection. Any recommendations for decent sticks under 10 bucks, mild to medium, possibly even full bodied. I've tried a Ghurka Ghost, Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 and Partagas Black Label. Ive liked all of them, but would like to know some other ones to branch out and find what I like. Please help me out!

Welcome to the Monkey House.....

I know it's pretty mainstream, but give the RyJ Belicosa a try - I really like those cigars.
That's a definite mild to medium and pretty nice flavor too.

Gurkha Ghost- I haven't seen one of them yet. ;) It's really hard to recommend something if we don't know what exactly you are looking for in the way of flavor. One thing you should do is post a bit about yourself in the new users introduction topic. I'm a big fan of Gurkha's and I like full flavor cigars. One thing you might try is looking at CI's big list of brands and checking the description on something you think you might like. One of my favorites is the Gurkha Ancient Warrior presidente pictured below.

thank you to both. as for what i like i like i like anything with a nutty, oaky flavor.I also have found that I like cigars that have a creamy flavor, or hints of coffee. not really looking for plain tasting cigars, id like stuff full of flavor. i will be sure to try both of these sticks!

If you really want to be able to find cigars that are exactly what you're looking for, I'd use a custom cigar site like http://www.customtobacco.com. You can choose your favorite flavors and blends, and even customize the label to read that it's a special part of your cigar collection.

Smokeygirl,

Six out of seven posts you are promoting your site. I don't mind you doing it, just do it in the retailer's section. Your posts are sounding like spam.

Dustin, that is because she IS spam!!

Chicago, you like the 1999, then you will probably like the Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro. Its a very nice maduro cigar with notes of coffee and leather.
