cold weather smokin

It gets pretty cold here and I'm skeptical about getting it warm enough to enjoy a smoke while relaxing in a chair and drinking something. I do not smoke indoors, so winters are tough for me and smoking. Hopefully that rodent from Pennsylvania has it right about only 5 more weeks of winter.

Come on over, I'll make a believer out of you. The key isn't that it's warm enough for me, the proof is that my wife will come out and join me. She does NOT like getting cold.

It's warmed up recently so tonight is suppose to be around 27 degrees. I'll be out there having a stick.

I think you are about 3,000 miles west of here and they are cancelling flights hourly due to the blizzard warnings for the morning. I think my current limit of travel to smoke a cigar is 50 miles, but I appreciate the offer.

DGJ you have it right with the whole ( There's something really relaxing about the quietness of snowfall, the company of a wonderful wife and a good cigar.) I like the slow falling snow just before twilight (not the crappy movies), I have thought about getting an outdoor heater to put on the dike above the river for those night time smokes but then I would have to come up with another reason for my wife and I to cuddle under the blanket (don't think I would have to try very hard our quite time away from our son)
Normal temp here is around 20 for 6 -8 weeks then nice weather in the 30's (wind chill really sucks though)

When my wife and I cuddled before the heater, it was almost entirely an effort to stay warm. Imagine if keeping warm isn't that big of an issue, then the cuddling takes on an entirely different dimension. ;)

It feels great smoking in Cold weather. Nothing is compareable to this. The weather is cool and I am smoking. Wao! Feels like heaven. ;-) ;-) (y)

What is cold weather to you? I don't mind cool - actually love cool weather to smoke in. But cold weather - below 40 degrees Fahrenheit - not for me.

Just curious what temps you are talking?

You guys have no idea what cold weather smoking is until you have had a cigar in -32C with a wind chill in the air. A nice shed, lots of blankets and a space heater make it all worth while!!

The coldest it's gotten here in Jersey was -21F - but that wasy about 15 years ago.
No amount of blankets are going to cut it for me. My old bones can't handle that crap.
