Mid west sit down, June 2006

If you have ever thought about playing, Skirmish is a GREAT place to play. Over 50 fields, HUGE castles (over an acre of INTERIOR space), entire villages, just incredible.

Here's a link to the Skirmish park.

LOL, comments about being too expensive in a cigar forum!

Paintball far excedes the cost of cigar smoking, Unless ALL you smoke are like Opus and Cubans lol.

Decent gun is at least 800, enough paintballs for a weekend of play is at least another 100, plus all the other equipment you should have and that is required is almost another 300, plus field fee's, as well as travel and accomidations for tournaments.

Sure, if you only play the national level circuit, your wallet will cry for mercy. But then your analogy stands; that's the same as only smoking X's.

If you are a recreational player, then your costs drop dramatically. Once you get your kit, you don't have that expense (like buying a good humi I suppose).

Now, all I gotta do is find a decent paintball park in MI so I can do some...ahem..."business scouting" there in early June.

:D :D :D

Capt,

Is there a link to your area, so we can start looking at some hotels. I know June is a long way from here, but I have to put my vacation days in by the end of December for next year. A friend of mine is interested is coming also, so we just wanted to start checking out the area as for a nice place to stay.

My friend is a die hard baseball fan, how far away is the tigers stadium, we would like to catch a game if we can. Thanks.

Ok, to all that are possibly coming: They are opening a Hampton Inn about 4 miles from my house this month. It is right off of M-5, an expressway right off of 96. I am going to try to get a huge group rate, so WHOEVER is planning on going, please respond so I can have an Idea of how many rooms to reserve. I look forward to everyone joining this sit down, including BLOOFINGTON. No excuses. If anyone has a financial bind, let know by PM, and you are more than welcome to stay at the house. Im gonna get with Macallan and see if we can do a Cigar.com skeet and sporting clay shoot.

wow just found this thread...i need to post more and get to know you guys and girls because i want to come to the party...capt im sure we live within miles of each other...so heres post 2 lolol

I will be there and I am confident, Cigar.com will be able to provide some prizes for the shooting contenst and some smokes for the event!!!

Sweet! I am going to start calling for prices for the pig, and also for the hotel.

I would love to attend, but I have no idea what my finances will be like when that time comes.

Wolf, if you go easy on the cigar spending, you can do it!!
