Well, I know I've been a stranger. I've been crazy busy these last few weeks. I took some time off from work for my b-day and now that I'm back to work I'm fixing a bunch of things that happened in my absence.

Well, now I'm off the Vegas! I'm going with a couple of friends for four days. And, I'll be taking a bunch of smokes. I plan to sound like Suzanne Pleshette by the time I leave.

This will be my first time at Casa Fuente. I can't wait.

Any suggestions of Vegas things to do?

Sounds great Brenda hope you have fun. Take pleny pics.
as far as helping you out with plans i cant havent been in about 10 years.

Try the Casa Mojito at Casa Fuente. I liked it! Kick back with a Casa Fuente cigar. Drool a pool in their humidor. And take a picture for me, since my pic didn't work out.

If you buy at least 5 Casa Fuente cigars, try asking the sales person or manager if they can throw it in an empty cigar box. Won't be a box of your choice, but it's a nice gesture to get you back there again. I scored a Sosa Piramides #2 box (empty of course).

As far as gambling, here's what I do:
one pocket contains my gambling money. Another pocket is empty (the Winning pocket). Whenever I win, I put the winnings in the Winning pocket, and NEVER take it out until I get back home.

And remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.  8)

Have mucho FUN!

if your lookin for just a chill, relaxing afternoon and cheap gambling and want to get a taste of the Vegas of yesterday, go to downtown/"old" vegas...great place to just take it easy and get away from the strip craziness and to take in some vegas history/culture, etc. if your first time in vegas, its a must do

If you want to get away from the casino's for a while, I would check out The Drive, from GM...

It's a test track, and you get to drive GM vehicles for 10 bucks. There's two tracks, off road and a "race" track. And you can drive a Hummer, Escalade & Tahoe or a Corvette, Pontiac & Cadilla. It's a good time.

Yeah, downtown Vegas is my preferred gambling spot. And besides, that's where I usually win.

damn, i wish i knew that was there, would have definately wanted to try that

some day, some day, I will make it to Vegas and I to will smoke in the casa fuente store. :D

Great suggestions. I will be attending the Big Smoke on Friday night, November 3 and definitely will check out Casa Fuente and the test drives.

While at Casa Fuente, make sure to dig around in the boxes a little. I picked up some toros that were covered in plume. Also get the pitcher of sangria. It'll relax those shoulders.

I have two suggestions: First, go to Fontana bar at the Ballagio, it's an outside bar which overlooks the fountain, killer spot to smoke a cigar.

I used to like Napoleons in Paris, but the service has turned to crap and it isn't what it used to be....

Also, since I'm a cheap gambler, I love to play at the Barbary Coast, nice cheap tables and $1 Roulette all day and night!

Oooooo. Thanks for the tip. I will.

It looks like you have lots of tips, so I won't say anything more, but have fun and stay safe!!

Im going to piggyback on this post. I am going to Vegas this weekend. Any suggestions for smokes once Im inside Casa Fuente?

Brenda, how was your trip?

I had a lovely trip. I went with a couple of friends who know how to do it. The first couple of nights we stayed up 'til 7am. The third night I had to turn in early at 2am. They stayed up.

Sunday, we went to Casa Fuente. I took a couple of pictures inside (I'm sure the folks working there thought I was a dork.)
I had a Casa Mojito (recommend  ) But, they do have an impressive Scotch selection. Next time I'm gonna have to try a couple of those. I ended up smoking an Opus X Perfecxion No. 5. Good times. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
