don't just learn from us. I love to see other smokers posts on what cigars they enjoyed. someone who smokes 4 cigars a day should be able to recommend a few sticks for me to try :)

Hi I am Simon but for some reason everyone calls me TheSiDog or more recently Frosty (the snowman) I am 27 living in the UK near Gatwick Airport I own an Estate Agency (or realestate agency) as well as a home conveyancing company (the legal practice of buying and selling a home) I am just getting into the cigar smoking culture and as things over here are so expensive I love to shop on Cigar.com, especially the COTM club as I can try all kinds of things

Hey Bildo792, I've enjoyed some of your posts. My current favorites, since I rely on Cigar.com a lot for advice, are the Diplomas. I also like the Onyx Reserve, the Oliva O Bold, and the CAO Extreme. I have also bought and enjoyed Anejos and Opus X, and VSGs, but I don't let myself have them everyday....this can become an expensive habit, but I consider it a hobby.
I was at a horse show today and smoked 3 cigars. Totally outside in the beautiful weather and you wouldn't believe the grief I got from everybody about "stinking" up the place. I just laugh and say they really like it and blow smoke toward them. They're actually my friends and good natured about it but it's interesting that they make a point of making negative comments.

Yes!!!! another diploma smoker. I am converting people one at a time :D Carefull with the O Bold. It is being discontinued soon by oliva and replaced with the O classic which is a remake of their original blend. Get the bold while you can.

I do have an order in right now for another box of the Bold. Why would the Olivas stop production of this...I don't know. they certainly know how to produce a fine smoke at a good price. Let me know if the regular line is comparable.

Guess it's about time to be introducin' myself around here. I'm a student in NC, been smoking cigars for about five months now. I finally get out of high school in about two weeks, then it's off to college in Greenville. Smoke about a couple a week, it's a quality over quantity thing, mainly full bodied cigars as well. Hope to learn from my time here on the forum.

I don't know how I missed this thread being that it's on top of the board  .

Anyway, here goes:

I'll be turning the big three-oh on 5/24. I moved to southern California in 2000 from Long Island, NY where I was born and raised. Been smoking cigars for about 7 years now, and I am thankful for the many friend I have made through a common passion for cigars. Until a couple of months ago I was an IT Consultant, but now I'm enjoying a few months of relaxation before I begin to train as a Cordon Bleu Chef in San Francisco at the Culinary Academy (it's gonna be fun paying my mortgage and for an apartment up there). My family has always been in the restaurant business and food import/export, so it was just a matter of time before they pulled me in :D I've had nothing but great experiences on this site, and the people here present a wealth of knowledge. I'm glad such a place exists.

I've had an excellent day today. A rare day off, in this kind of springtime weather. I started with a Hemingway WOA which took me to lunchtime where I decided to breakout a San Cristobel La Punta which after 6 months in the cooler was AMAZING. How do you follow that up, but at 7:00 in the evening, taking the dogs for a walk. I had a Cusano C10 which is a very good cigar...not quite the Cuban, but close. For the money a very good buy.

Welcome Guys....Looker forward to reading some of your threads......

yes yes yes.....diplomas are okay by me!!

Trainer, I had a great horse riding experience in Belize one time.....crazy horses...CRAZY!!! I'll have to tell you sometime..

CBS, You'll definately learn some good things, and I'm sure you'll share too .......

Hey everyone,

I just registered and am happy to begin this long and very pleasant journey. I am 17 , bear this in mind when reading and responding to my posts. I have been interested in cigars since the age of about 14 (you wonder why? ) and have done great research on the subject. Unfortunatly , i have a year to wait before im allowed to "legally" buy and smoke cigars. So , till that time arrives im saving my hard earned money and talking to experienced smokers , who enjoy having good conversations on a broad range of subjects. As of right now , im in my last year of school with only 5 more months before the hell is over (YES!). Im online mostly on at the "wee hours of the night" and my Instant Messengers are always on, so if anyone wants to have a good chat , im here. With that said and done , i end my introduction.

-Constantine

(No im not Greek, i had my name legally changed  )

Yet another introduction!

Hi , I from the United Kingdom, I’ve been smoking cigars since I was sixteen (I’m forty-three now) I've been shopping from Cigar.Com for many years and have loved the service. The forum is a brilliant idea and makes for great reading on all levels.

I love good cigars no matter where they’re made or how inexpensive they are.

My favourite cigars – in no particular order

Partagas Lusitanias, CAO L'Anniversaire Extreme Belicoso, Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona,
La Aroma de Cuba Robusto, Punch Royal Selection No11, Punch Gran Puro Rancho, Trinidad Double Robusto, Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur No1 (N+M), Bolivar Belicosis Fino, Punch Rare Corojo Magnum, Leon Jimenes No1

It goes on much like everyone else’s.

I look forward to the future :D :cheerschug:

I've made a few posts here, and you guys sound like cool cats so I figure I'll hang around and get my toes wet with this fine tobacco business.

I've been here for a couple months now, but I guess it's time for a proper introduction. My name is Tim, I'm 21, almost 22, and I've only been smoking since January. My uncle came down to visit a for a few days and took me fishing. He asked if I wanted a cigar, so I said sure. I lit up and enjoyed the hell out of that thing. I had 2 cigars that day and have been hooked ever since.

I don't have a ton of favorites yet, as I'm still buying mostly singles and trying new stuff, but a couple I keep coming back to are AF 858 Maduros and Cuesta Rey Centenario No. 60s. I've only had one Diploma so far, but I loved it...I'll be ordering some more in the next few days probably.

Other stuff about me...I play guitar in a ska/punk/rock band, I work at a boat factory, and I have a wonderful girlfriend who I hope to marry someday. She is not thrilled about my habit, but she doesn't mind as long as I don't smoke around her.

For anyone who is interested, you can hear a few of my band's songs here: http://www.myspace.com/msc

I hate you........ just kidding. I was having some fun in a band when I was in my 20s. I just listened to your stuff. Good music.

Me and my wife get down to Ft. Lauderdale every once in a while. I've always liked Florida.
