5 1/4x38-48, a figurado (or perhaps perfecto), I believe.
Ahhhhhhhhh, DiMeola, perhaps my first in years. A cigar recommended to me by a schmooze at De La Concha years ago, and one that NEVER fails to satisfy. I bought a gift pack containing two of their shapes a little less than six months ago, so I knew I could smoke one at this point without getting punched in the face. Too hard.
This cigar had the typically spicy, rich DiMeola taste, which today brought to mind black pepper, fennel, basil, unsweetened cocoa powder, and a bit of slightly charred fried chicken skin.
DiMeola. Rather obscure, underrated and decently priced. Never a dull moment. Lit at 1441 hours, finished at 1541 hours.
